Perfect Balance's cars | Small update| 05/03/14

I've enjoyed following this thread. I've always wanted one of these cars and would like to put a RB26 into one.

Good choice of wheels. They really suit the car and make it look great. I see you have Fortune Auto adjustable suspension. I have just become aware of this brand and they seem to be a good low cost option that are as good as more expensive brands. I would consider getting some if I was to build a track car.

That is all.

Very nice. I have SPG Profischale in my car and I'm very much satisfied.

I hope you don't plan on driving it daily much longer... either that or you don't have much consideration for your spine.

I disagree with my case. I find it very good for my spine as I sit very straight with good angle instead of regular seat where I'm a bit Quasimodo.

Recaro Pole Positions are the most comfortable buckets known to man. It feels like someone hugging me all the time. :D

I feel bad for people with Sparcos, really. I went to a shop that carried most of their lineup and every single seat was horribly uncomfortable.

In any case, it's far more comfortable than the stock seats. Not to mention mine had a hole in the left bolster that the frame was coming through. I'm working on getting a daily though, regardless.

Do you have to have the 5 point harness installed? My drive seat is in a bad condition

No, you can still use the factory seat belts. In fact, there's a nut welded to a bracket on the seat rails to bolt the factory seat belt buckle to.

This. As long as a seat is designed well, it doesn't really matter how thin and uncomfortable it looks as it's supporting all the bits of you that need to be supported, which the uniform padding on many OEM seats doesn't really do.

Lol at people who think that racing seats are supposed to be uncomfortable. At least the properly designed ones. I own and SPG. Used to own a Pole Position but was way too big for me. The SPG is amazing. I daily my car.

Sooooooooo... I got a new toy.:D

Of course, this is kind of assuming I can get this thing up and running properly, but I'm excited.

Bro. My Memory Fab is one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in for long treks. It supports my whole body and nothing starts to ache or anything. The only stock seat of any car that comes close are the sport package Recaros from an E30 of all things.

Ridickaliss.

What's not running right with it? My mate used to have a 323 GT-X
Supposedly my buddy, who was the previous owner, got a slightly larger turbo for it off a Probe, and overported the wastegate, and it doesn't hold boost anymore, so it might need a new turbo. It has other small issues, but that's the main one.

Don't forget to chalkboard paint the hood.
It more or less is chalkboard paint at the moment, but no, not gonna happen. I think it's stupid looking.

So on a spur of the moment buy because of Black friday deals, I've purchased a set of rear upper control arms and rear toe rods from Fortune Auto for about $100 less than it would normally cost me.

Maybe now I can lower the rear of the car like I wanted to and get my alignment right.👍

Dang I really needed that money right now though....

Didn't see you'd bought the 323. What are the plans for it? Two project cars is a bit extreme :p

Not two project cars. The 323 is going to be the daily driver, just need to fix some issues first.

Like the swimming pool
Yeah that was a lot of cleaning, and it is still hardly clean.

Unfortunately the sunroof leaks so every time it rains the passenger seat gets wet still.

Also, here's a pic of the full car after installing my snow tires. Keep in mind this car was always meant to be a daily beater, so it's not in any way in great shape. Although honestly respraying the front end would help a lot.

Luckily snow NEVER MELTS so you won't have to deal with this for another 6 months.

Is the 323 the awd model? If so, it should be beast in the snow.
It is so AWD. It's like a Jeep but less bro and more turbo.
