I am going at lunch time to pick up 2 copies of PDZ at Best Buy. I have been wanting this game for a while and now its on sale!

Online is great. Single player is crap/boring. Havent tried co-op though, hopefully its good. Thats a good price too

I just got back. I bought 2 copies of PDZ at Circuit City because they said they would price match Best buy. Then I picked up 2 copies of Rainbow Six Vegas. Its going to be a great weekend. :sly:
Both of these games are co-op but RSV is 4 player co-op.

I'm surprised you're not broke considering the amount of games you buy.

We dont have any kids, we dont smoke or do drugs, I work 50-60 hours a week and own my own home. I also have a side job. This means we always have extra money. :sly: We arent rich but we have almost everything we want.
Our 2 muscle cars are pretty much our kids. We feed them and give them money once in a while. They can get expensive real quick.

I played the single player for about 30 minutes last night and the multiplayer for 1 round. I can see how this game will be very fun on co-op and the multiplayer was fun too. The game had a 007 feel to it so I am looking forward to playing some co-op over the long holiday weekend. I also like the fact that there are bots online you can play against. That reminds me of counter strike and Timesplitters 2-3.

...To be completely honest, I didn't care much for the game. Maybe I was spoiled by COD2 at the time, but it just didn't feel "right" as a FPS. It felt slow and heavy, wasn't a whole lot of fun, and was hard to navigate about.

For $20, it isn't a bad deal. But back when it was $50, you probably would have had to put a gun to my head to get me to buy it.

Heather and I put at least 20 hours into this game over the weekend. I am shocked how addictive and fun PDZ is. I dont know how I went all this time without ever playing this game. The single player is ok and better than I expected for a launch title 360 game. We beat the co-op on agent in around 7-8 hours. Then we put several hours into the multiplayer and got quite a few achievements. The multiplayer was so fun. It feels like a mix between Counterstrike, 007 for the N64, and Timesplitters 2. Especially since you can put bots into games and set up the room ANY way you want. I guess there is some mode where you cause destruction but we havent tried that yet. We plan on beating the game on the other difficulties too. Rare sure knows how to make great games!

Wow....if you're honestly enjoying PDZ I'd hate to see how much you'd post if you played Resistance: Fall of Man.

In all fairness, it was a good game, but it had entirely too many flaws, and was too dated for me to enjoy. It basically played like a very old school FPS in my opinion, and the multiplayer just didn't do it for me, it wasn't as frantic as it should have been (like the original PD 4player multiplayer).

But, again, this is opinion. I just don't care for the game much, having played the original Perfect Dark...this one was a huge let down.

I'd have to say that it isn't worth $20 when you can probably get the far better original and an N64 for that much. Hell, you may even be able to get Goldeneye thrown in.

You guys have to keep in mind we have already played and beat almost every game on the 360 at this point. Including GOW on insane, COD3, RSV ......PDZ was something refreshing that gave me an old school mix between Counter strike, 007 Goldeneye for the 64, and Timesplitters 2,3. No its not anything astounding but for an xbox360 launch title that is a year old it seems pretty fun as a co-op with my girlfriend. Playing the multiplayer with Heather has been a lot of fun when we put 12-14 bots in the room with us. Thats 16 people total and we can set the room up any way we want. 👍
BTW I have seen trailers and videos of Resistance fall of man and it definetly doesnt look better than GOW. Not even close. :sly:

Fun > Pretty.

I rented PDZ. Glad I did that instead of buying it. I must've spent at most an hour or two with the game (including online multiplayer) and I thought the game just sucked plain and simple. Much MUCH better games out there to spend your time on.
