Anyone pull the trigger on one of these bad boys yet for their G25/27? I have my finger on the trigger and ready to fire but just would like to see if anyone here has it and how they like it pro's and con's. Is it really worth the money?

I have seen the video but really wanted some first hand knowledge from some of the folks here, not to say that I don't trust SRT cause they are very trustworthy. Just want a bit more of a warm and fuzzy before pulling the trigger. That buyers remorse might kick in hard after that's all :)

As great as it looks... that's too much. Alot of companies are taking advantage of the GT5 release to make a buck methinks.

Not sure if that's true because I think this product has been out for quite a while now.

Well I have zero experience with it. But up front $250 seems like a ton to spend to upgrade one pedal. Especially considering that a full set of ClubSport pedals is $200.

I've used the G25 pedals and the ClubSports are night and day different. If it was me, I would be tempted to wait until the GT3 RS ClubSport Edition is available again and get the entire setup for $350 rather than upgrade one pedal for $250 but that's just me.

But it does look like a real nice upgrade for the G25/27.

My error then. I just saw the SRT review and assumed it was new. Those guys baffle me sometimes. Early sneak previews and then looooooooooooooooong overdue reviews.

But I still think the T500RS is about $200 overpriced to take advantage of early-ish release GT5 mania, as well as what seems like a wheel shortage out there. Early adopters pay the most to be first afterall.

True but I've read all these nightmare quality stories with the Fanatec stuff. I'm sure the Logitech has them too but just seem to be less, maybe just my perception.

Well, ifLogitech outsells Fanatec 10 to 1, and you get 10 times as many Fanatec complaints as Logitech complaints... does that means Logitech is 100 times better? Doubtful. More likely it's just the incredibly vocal minority that tends to be heard on enthusiast message boards.

Very True. I know not to get caught up in all that stuff because I know the people that have no problems don't post saying that they don't.

Perfect Pedal is universally considered superior to ClubSports. Not many pedals on the market use hydraulics.

Price is also comparable to Fanatec; $550 for GT2+CS, or $550 for G27+PerfectPedal. G27 doesn't allow variable rotation though, so it's out for me. Now, GT2 + G27 pedals + PerfectPedal? Hmmm...

If you can track down a cheap used set of G25/27 pedals, or have some lying about the house, you may be set.

I would take the "Horror Stories" with a grain of salt. Gunstar has it right. If you look at the complaints it seems to be the same few that will complain on any Fanatec subject. I have had a service issue and was taken care of with a replacement within a week. Couldn't be happier.

With that said I did like my G25, I'm just happier with the CSPs. I'm sure the Perfect Pedal is awesome. I trust what the ISR guys say as they seem to be on target with my experiences on products they have reviewed.

I am gonna step up here and say "it is not just the same few" - it is a NEW group everytime Fanatec releases/repackages a product.

They are notorius for long delays and sensitive product. Google "fanatec delays", those 144,000 results are not the "same few people". ;)

I dont even think Google would return anything for "perfectpedal mod failure" :)
