Permant Power loss

Whats up with this permant power lose thing , I hate it. I mean i realize that cars do lose power over time and all but ive lost power in both my Toyota GT1 race car, and in my Mitsu LM FTO race car. It really bites, My toyota only has like 6XX miles on it and the fto i think only has like 400 or less. i wish i woulda know how quickly it happened, because i woulda used other cars like the raybrig or vertigo or one of my other 10 or so Race cars. i wish i could get my HP back. Waht does everybody else think?
 
Oil change.

After a certain amount of miles the engine begins to "wear" wish equates to hp loss if you periodically give you cars an oil change the hp will stay at a constant, 1323 for fully modded toyo gt1 i do believe etc.
 
hmm mine was never that high mines the road car and i always give it oil changes, it was at 1122 and now its at 1099. i cant always get to it before the light comes on like if im in a series, does that cause it to lose its power.
 
after you drive the fully modified GT-ONE, it goes down to 1099.
mine has over 2000 miles on it, and it always goes back up to 1099. it'll never get to it's brand-new hp, but don't worry. it's not going to lose any more.
 
Has anyone noticed that out of all the cars in the game, I've noticed that the F1 cars are affected most from age. Maybe it's just me, but my F/686 with 1,200 some miles on it performs A LOT worse than a new one compared to say my old 14,900 some mile GT-One Race Car than to the new one. There's almost no noticable difference. Now I know that there's a big HP difference, but the old F/686 is something like 920 HP if I'm not mistaken, and the new ones are something like 970ish HP. Fifty horsepower shouldnt be that noticable. The thing I've noticed most is that past 2nd gear, at the beginning of the gear, it takes off EXTREMELY slow, like when it switches into 4th gear, it's very slow acceleration until it gets to about 13,500 RPM's.

Just something I've noticed, anyone else?
 
Everyone complains cause games arent real enough shoot! sell the car and buy another just like in real life... you cant flog a dead horse.
 
My F090/s handles like crap now because it has 2000 miles on it. I had to go do the Super Speedway Endurance 6 times to get it again and guess what color it is.... Pink :banghead: but it handles a lot beter than my old f090/s.
 
i think they should have made it so you could like pay for an engine rebuild when you car gets that old or something so you can get back the power you lost, i gess you could always just buy extra copies of you car when its new! i mean some of those are iraplacable! you have to win them and ant win them twice!
