The ILUVMYAK and IMY AK plates looks very similar and might be the same plate. The first one makes more sense but it's the second one I get. Might be a glitch in my game.
 
This is going to sound really dumb, and I'm probably going to get flamed on multiple points for this, but I hope there is a way to name cars or put personalized plates on them in GT4.

I've not played enough GTA:SA to see personal plates yet. I do, however, want to put Z8M Z8M on a Mazda RX-8.
 
You can't. But you will find a a few cars around San Andreas with them. There are a lot of different personalisations, so noticing the same one would be rare (unless you go around looking at every car's number plates, I'm sure you will come across the same one in about an hour).

You cannot personalize your own Number Plates.
 
I haven't seen many. I think it's mostly for cars owned by actual people in the game, like Sweet and Ryder, etc. Someone should have checked Big Smoke's car. You may see cars with them driving on the streets, but rarely, I would think.
 
I was noticing alot of them at the start of the game but in latter missions I haven't noticed them as much.
 
Yeah same here. I don't think I've seen a single one since I've gone out of Los Santos. Maybe you only see them around the gang areas in Los Santos, only in Los Santos, or just mainly in those areas. I don't know.
 
Smoke's bike has ILUVMYAK and I think OG's one has AK69 on it. I noticed them in missions :)

In that mission where your on the back of that bike with smoke, the bike has a personalised plate, can't remember what it was.
If you could get them i would get and "Elegy" with the plate EVLR32 that would be sweet!
 
"A car you drive on a mission for Wu Zi" has the plate "TIMEBOMB".
 
EVLR32...I think I know a person with those exact plates here.

Also, I seen those plates from that mission, I know the one you're talking about. But that's not exactly a road-worthy car. Well, it can be. I modded one and I now have it as my car. Looks real nice. Doesn't have personalised License Plates though. :grumpy:

I saw the real EVLR32 cruising a few days ago, that is a seriously nice ride. It's a pity you can't make an elegy look anywhere near as good as that in SA.

First of all, all the cars have random number plates, so the Bullet won't just have 1 set number plate. Nice find though. Was this on a mission or something?

Also, I think I know what they have done with the Number Plates to make them always different (well I've had this theory ever since I got the game). They just randomize each letter and number, but have a rule that it has to be a certain amount of letters and numbers, but can be placed anywhere. I don't think they stored alot of License Plates, contrary to what others have said.

I saw it heaps in Manukau at stu's trim shop when i was getting my drivers seat on my R32 RE-bolstered.
It also cruises the shore sometimes.
 
@Jimmy Yeah that's what I've thought about the no. plates the entire time. I think it's a very nice addition to the game though. I was always sick of having the same no plate all the time in VC and III. Except for the Love Fist etc. which had diff. no plates.
 
Yeah exactly. We whined about that a lot, surprisingly. :lol:]

Also, I saw the Bullet yesterday. I actually came across it by accident.
 
cool, one car thats missin is the stinger, where is our famous sports convertible :(.

The bullet is wikedly fast in a straight line. :O
 
Yeah but the Stinger name had been in every GTA game ever (except London, I'm not sure if it was in that or not), "it's breaking this countries traditions!" :lol:
 
I loved the Stinger in Vice, one of the best handling cars in that game i rekon.
But oh well i guess they can't have every car in the game.
