We all know Peter for his one big claim to fame - the flipping Le Mans car. Well, he's been at it again.

I was innocently watching the DTM live from Zandvoort today when, at the end of lap 22, Peter, in his V8 Vectra, came tooling round the final corner, flat-out, understeered straight off the corner and into a thin tyre wall. The car was launched up and over (still within the confines of the cricuit this time though) and was literally obliterated. After two rolls, all that was left was the safety cell.

The medics and clean-up crew arrived instantly - hell, it was opposite the pit entrance - and the race was red flagged. A minute later, Dumbreck got out of the car and walked over to the ambulance.

This man has now survived TWO full speed impacts with the car being totally upside-down and ending the right way up, and has been able to walk away.

Seriously - catch this accident if you can. The commetators didn't think he was alive...

I hate to say this, but maybe the Speed Channel will air this racing event in a more timely manner now that something "exciting" happen. Whatever, so long I get to see all the other races.

Car safety has become better than ever. Lucky bastard.

Kenny Breck (sp?) did survived his crash in 300km/h+ into the wall.
Lucky people 👍

eh... Yeah, I caught that one, but I'd think dumbreck's was just as bad from the sound of it.

At least he walked away which Kenny did not. He's still not recovered fully from that crash, saw him on tv the other night and he still looks pale and very skinny.

This is another video, and the good thing, you don't need to sign up for anything. Just click the link, and wait for the video to start streaming. It starts from the beginning of the race, so if you missed any of it, you can see it now. However, if you want to see the accident, actually just a bit that they have for free, then fastforward the video, move the "SEEK" button to the far right, to the very end to see it. It happens on lap 23. The race restarts with a different video, which costs money to watch. So, you might not want to watch the whole video since you don't get to see the rest of it for free. Oh, it's in Dutch. Shunga-yunga-yunga-yunga.
