I don't like this:

[Other Changes]
- Cars worth over 1,000,000 Cr. (including gift car coupons) are now prohibited from being traded to prevent issues during the trading process. When lending and borrowing cars between friends, please use the car loan system.

I'll accept it though if they'll bump it to 2,000,000 Cr. But they won't, so I'm in.
 
well apparently the ban is somewhat lifted cause one of my friends just sent me a FGT and if you dont believe me add my PSN and go look at my log, it says Gift received coupon for Formula Gran Turismo
 
I'm in........& i thought this was a petition thread, not a jump on the bandwagon thread?
To all those posting saying they agree with the patch........you're in the wrong thread guys :D
 
weres the hell is the like a post cause like Broon said, this Ain't no Bandwagon Thread, this is a Thread for those who oppose the update not for, you can create your own thread for that, which i believe they already have

I would not have thought so because a new update would be required to change it back, and no new update is in sight for now 👍

My guess is that it will be put back to normal (trade any car) in the next week or so.. Thank god I traded for a new Crabon X1 yesterday :sly:

Yeah it's true. The ban has been lifted. And you can send cars again.

And I admit it, it was me. I gave Kaz a call and said, "Hey, there's now a 1,000,000 credit trade limit!" And he was all like, "What....?" And I was like, "Uhh, Hello, YEAH! You didn't know?". And He was like "No WAY!" And I was like "WAY!" And he was like, "OMG! WTF did they do? ARGH! Hold, on, let me fix it! There!" And I was like, "Whoa, awesome! Thanks Kaz!"

like i said i dont know exactly whats going on but if you add me and look, there it is, i think like an hour ago is when i got it

lol, i cant trade right now i traded earlier, hence the FGT, but give me a few and i will add you on my PSN and see what it says if i try to send

well its ok i'll add your PSN and send you a message when the Endurance im doing gets done....i hate how in B-spec theres no fast foward, why didnt they implement that into the update, if they would have, i could have over looked the "1 million" cap
 
PD obviously put alot of time and effort into designing the ingame economy. As messed as it is they obviously want it that way and dont want people using expliots to get around it. Stop crying because people that make the rules stopped you from cheating!
 
well its not exactly cheating buddy, its just helping, cheating isnt defined by getting a car thats better when it allows the car....cheating is doing some kind of mod and getting all the cars and having max money, how people chose to play the game has absolutely nothing to do with you because it does not render your ability to play, therefore your opinion is invalid
 
Looks like we may have done some good. ;-) I was just able to send a 20 mil car to my son. If they've changed it, THANKS! If a bug, then, well, thanks a little, anyhow. ;-)
 
i have paid for this game, i have not jailbreaked my ps3, i paid for it with my own money so i think i have every right to play the game in any way i see fit, trading was one aspect of the game, and it was a new, exciting and cool aspect to it that i quite enjoyed

if i don't grind to get credits like soo many ppl are against, how am i gonna have enough credits to buy the cars i want?

My point exactly, if you pay for the game and you arent affecting anyone elses gameplay then why should you be outcasted and despised just because you do something, fact is, whether you admit it or not, im sure everyone here makes a dup of at least their favorite car...i dont car what you say, yea i dup some cars, buts only to trade to friends for cars i WANT
 
I'm out, the ban has been lifted. Didn't take long, but I have a feeling this thread will get longer.

EDIT: I just sent a 4mil cr. from account a. Worked. I just tried sending the car back from account b to account A, and no avail. Said this car can't be given to a friend. Didn't say anything about a daily limit. So I tried a paint, having already reached my limit, and that IS still in effect. I am utterly confused about the ban. Why can I send a car, but somebody on the same ps3 can't? So confused.

It sure doesn't look like it... If they did, they must be pretty stupid. I mean, what's the point in having to repeat the SAME events you've already won, simply because this game, UNlike GT4, doesn't have enought different events? If there was enough events, so that you could make enough money by just winning new events, then OK, but it is stupid that you have to play the SAME challenges over and over again, in order to get the best cars. It would be the same as if in Sonic or Mario you would have to play the same stages hundreds of times before you could reach the final boss...

BTW, would someone be kind enough to tell me how to duplicate cars? I am starting to like the idea... 💡

EDIT: OK, I had the brilliant idea of using the search function so I already know how to do it, it's what I thought BTW... LOL

this might have worked... i just sent a friend a 2J race car.... no joke!!! 2 min ago i sent him it and he messaged me he recieved it just now....so see if you can trade over 1 mil cr car...BTW the 2j was never duped
 
Not hating, but do these things ever work? The latest patch doesn't effect me one bit, just wondering.
 
Count me in too, Ive not played the game in over a month due to I lent it out coz I got so bored of a beta of a game but this new update really does sound like something you wouldn't wanna step in walking down the street

i just sent a 2j race car...thats over 1 mil for sure....lol. i guess they lifted the trading.....BTW i think this was to help the servers...if you had the game day 1 when B-day tickets where set like mad because the was no limit to the amount per account.... then they limited 1 per account and the servers got better...and now that its 1 per PS3 & under 1 mil, the servers should get alot better

They supposedly created a 3 hour window to allow people to get their high value cars back.... Yes good thinking PD that will work...

To the OP you should also include a reversal of the one car per day PER PS3 institution.

But, yes I'm in.
