Maybe you don't understand that this thread is marked "Anti 1.07" and the reasons for it have already been explained multiple times (Not just duping,Even legit trades,getting 20million cr cars,etc).So when you come to this thread to bitch about how great 1.07 is you are effectively saying "america sucks" in the middle of New York high street and refuse to change your narrow minded viewpoint.Also,read the AUP on insulting others calling them 3 years old.This actually brings your maturity level into question fyi.That all I can be bothered to say.And by the way,the last guy with this kinda conduct recieved a week ban.Just saying.👍

We don't ask for their 3d meshes or anything, just the option back we already had when we bought the game.
 
I'd be willing to accept these kinds of changes if PD would take the time to communicate its reasons.

I've played MMORPG's in the past where the developers have felt the need to make changes to counter an exploit or perceived abuse; but they've declared the reasons why.

I'm still playing this Game, three months or so after release, and I've been both pleased and disappointed by the ups and downs of the patches and feature changes. But what is really testing my loyalty is the almost total lack of communication from the Developers.

If PD want to develop a Community around GT5, then they really ought to take responsibility for what that entails. Effective communication with your user-base is key to that.

Not saying that they should provide full-on Developer 'Blogs (though that would be nice), and having staff members participate with forums such as GTPlanet can be a thankless task: but *SOME* form of regular communication/feedback would be appreciated.

Otherwise, I fear the PD/GT brand is just getting poisoned.

You're right,they gotta find out what the consumers want because that's what's keepin em alive.
 
Do you not think that all the 'cheating' has been done though? The game has been out for 3 months and 3 days now, that gives people 95 trades to dupe cars. There's only 76 cars that are worth over 1 million credits, so in theory people could've already gotten every car that is now banned by duping. Yes, they've shut the stable door but the horses bolted a long time ago. And they've not just shut the stable door, they've shuttered it up and written '**** off' all over it.""
Also, it's not a case of not having trading. It's a case of it being taken away so abruptly after months of building up communities and routines around it. It's like reaching 18 years of age and your parents' saying, 'right, that's your childhood over, goodbye' and kicking you out.



Wrong.....a lot of us are car fanatics. I for one love Rx-7s.....there are 8 of those. Granted they are under the cap but but why should I wait 8 days to collect them all when I have cars that others want. X'1s (will those still be tradable after the ban? 22 of those, the list goes on. I have just as much fun looking at my beautiful garage as I do driving my beautiful cars.

Because of the way PD did this, this game was easily gaining popularity...it was on fire, dumb, dumb dumb.


If you really wanted to "fix" this situation, one that I for one see no problem with, have it so that you can only trade cars equivalent to your driving status. Or make it 5 cars a day, not many people have more slots than that anyway. Or make it so you can't trade x'1s or whatever the hell car it is they are worred about.


It's just a game PD, one that we waited YEARS!!! for, now we are finally happy with it and you are blowing it all to hell. Way to go on another f#@ up.

One more thing. I own my own business and marketing and customer service is everthing. PD really dropped the ball on customer service with the constant delays. Don't tell me they just wanted to get it right blah blah blah. I understand screw ups happen. I've had a few big ones myself, and you know what, I took care of them. But PD whether by stepping in it or by design struck gold here with the market place. This place was a buzz with activity and excitement. Killing that, for whatever reason, is unbelievable blunder. I forget which rule of marketing it is (it's been so long since I've studied it) but any word of mouth that generates excitment is your number one advertisement. I don't know who is advising PD but they've steered them in the wrong direction here.

I'm unsure of what point you are making...if you are for the ban or against it. But there are many of us, myself included that have a family that also plays the game. THIS IS THE ONLY GAME WE PLAY. My kids, my wife (even though she sucks at it we still have fun watching the replays) You aren't just taking away the dupers, you are taking away the rest of us who like to play the game the way it is meant to be played. We all trade our daughter our pink paints so she can paint all her cars pink.
We enjoy three things in my house, the Boston Celtics, Pottery, and GT. One trade a day...c'mon, how about we take the DVR away so that we have to watch the celtics are the time they are on the network, or only be able to use the pottery wheel during certain hours of the day. It's a game for crying out loud, a game my family and I have invested a lot of time and money into. Who honestly gives a rats patoot if someone is duping cars....IT'S AN IMAGINARY CAR!

Another thing I forgot......I hate grinding. Many people here seem to have the time to do it.....but I don't. And most of the high value cars I have (that I love and would hate to part with ) I can't sell anyway.

There once was a concept that has long be lost of actually working hard to achieve something. The Mentality of many today has been shaped by the various social programs that have been instituted through government schools and hand me outs. Not to mention the ones spoiled by parents that have given them everything that their hearts desire.

Its like the teenager that gets their parents car for the first time and dogs it all over town not having a care in the world about the wear and tear on the car. Let them have to work hard for long hours to save and buy that same car and you see a different result. That person now understands how much blood, sweat, and tears it took to get that car and treats it much better than the previous example.

The point is you will never appreciate that duped car because you didn't work for it. And you will treat it like crap.This type of mindset will also effect your real life.Good luck!:sly:
 
Spent 2 hrs last night grinding Indy to finally get up to 20Mil (knew I shoulda done this two weeks ago). Now I can get the 20millers before the ban goes back into effect. Bad decision PD, bad decision. Why would you want to piss off so many loyal players?

I have not insulted anyone nor have I called anyone a 3 year, I passed a comment talking about my own son if you feel that reference relates to you also then that's your proactive , doesn`t reflect to well on your opinion of your self though, but ah that's your opinion on you not mine 👍

As for getting banned I hardly think I'm going to get banned for talking about my 3 year old boy lol I even made a light hearted joke of it hence the thumps up, but ah if I do then that call is down to the Moderators of this site not you.

Wrong. Im 33 and didn't have crap just handed to me when I was growing up. I bought my own car before I even had a drivers license, yet I duped countless amounts of cars. Mostly anything over 3 mill, so I could keep my credits for other cars when they finally showed up in the used lot.

This is a VIDEO GAME, so please stop taking it so seriously. When I started duping cars I was done with the career mode (minus a few endurance races), and I did not care to keep repeating the same races over and over. I just wanted to drive cars in practice mode and race online.

It has nothing to do with appreciating a virtual car in a video game. So please pull your head out of your 🤬

I'm in. 1.07 utterly absurd, of all the good things PD could've done, they pull this with no warning. Spend your efforts fixing the game PD, rather than breaking it further.

To the anti duping brigade. If you don't like it- Don't do it. Simple. Why do you all get pleasure out of seeing others enjoyment of the game diminished. Sad really.
