Peugot 905 worth buying?

This has just come up in my UCD for 4.5m, is it worth that? Anyone used it good effect in any of the later events?

the seasonal events have taken me from 18 to 24 in a the last few days. My GT5 time is very limited so I'm making slow progress!

This will be the first 'proper' race car in my collection if I buy this.

I have it. Its not particularly useful per se, but its fun to drive. I use it online all the time and nobody seems to have it, which i like (it makes me feel special!). Very light and quick.

It's an extremely quick car, about as quick as the 88-CV(minolta) and other lemans cars, sounds nice too.

If you hadn't yet purchased it, you should buy a Formula GT since your at lvl. 24 . . . you will need it.

This. But I do love my 905.

FWIW I find the FGT hard to race. It turns too good.

Yea FGT if you already have a nice LM race car like the Ford or Minolta etc, something than can win the extreme events....if you don't have any of those then I would buy the 905 first because you can race more with that car. You can race almost all the extreme events in it and the FGT race is a single event. Furthermore racing all the extremes will earn you back enough cash to get the FGT when you need it.

I got a 905 randomly with 0 miles on it, used it once, It's not even that fast and you can win a minolta (basically same car but sounds way better) from one of the races

the 905 is much faster then the minolta while drafting, but is about 10 km/hr slower without drafting.

that being said i like the 905 more just because it is funner looks better and revs to 13000~ rpms.

the 905 was my 1st race car and I ran it ALLOT! so far, its my fastest car on high speed ring, but because I ran that track 1000's of times to grind some cash.

with the high turbo on it, is a touch over 900 hp, turns very well, stops very well, and has a nice top speed.

but if I had to choose between the FGT and 905, the FGT would win because you need it for other races and if you want to grind endurance in bspec.

The 905 looks bad-ass imo. I personally wouldn't buy it with my credits, but I did trade for it.

I've used it in the Turbo Challenge High Speed ring and I think one german challenge, but I prefer the Nissan R92.
