Very nice shots here. Are you obssesed with France or something because nearly ever time I have looked here there is something to do with France!
Great work! If you have time have a look at my gallery.

Great pics i love the pics at the Panthéon :) 👍

Great update, I like how you incorporated the car and the scenery into each shot. The Viper shot can be further improved but it is looking better. I'll post another version of the viper shot to show you how far you can go.

Thanks Streetz. That viper looks even better.

On me and France. Last summer I went to France and had a great time. I saw all of those sights while I was there. The Renault Clio is probably my favorite hot hatch, and it fits so well in Paris. Here's a formula: [Good times]+[Great car]+[Excellent fit]=[lots of pictures] I think I will be staying away from France for awhile.

This is one of the only times where I think scenery can be as important to the picture as the car, so I tried to take that and run with it.

Thanks all for your comments! More coming as soon as I edit my most recent batch!

Sorry for the double post.:guilty:

You guys have waited long enough. Here it is... American steel on American cement!

My Chaparral 2D at Infineon:

I guess these pictures are a bit different from what you guys are used to here. I like the car's front end, that's why most of the pics are of the front.

Enjoy! Any comments are welcome!

Here's a little preview of what will come probably this Saturday, as I will be gone until then:

There's more where those came from just around the corner!

I really like the 2D in the middle row far right, I like the ways its zoomed out, and you can see a lot of track, the car doesn't always have to be the center of attention. I also like the 2nd BMW shot, it looks good in black and white.

Good looking pics, man!

You're improving by the minute, and like already stated, have a good eye for composition.

I like your angles, they're very good at capturing and showing what you want to show in every pic, makes us look to the "right" spot at first glance. Good job!

Streetz, what changes have you done to the Viper pic, apart from upping the saturation?
It wasn't only that, I reckon.

I did add alittle saturation and increased contrast. The contrast really works amazingly on the GT4 photos as they tend to always come out with a certain "haze" over the photo.

Philly, your 2D update is fantastic. The angles are all great and the composition is also right up there. The color, saturation, contrast, and brightness are all perfectly adjusted to suit the track and car. Definately your best update so far. Great work 👍

I like the 2D a lot. It is a ver cool looking car. Thanks for all of the positive feedback guys!

Now for the M3, an amazing car in an amazing color!

Flying Four!
German vs. American muscle
Beemer Brothers
The pass
Speeding down the long straight

Black and White M5 pics. I like them best in B&W, although it is harder to get contrast & brightmess right.

High jump! M5 sets a good height
Cruising down the hilll

This mid-size sedan is no slouch

Maybe I should get something in for you British fans?

Maybe I should get something in for you British fans?

I would just like to say Great pics! +rep
I am one of those British fans and i was wondering if you could possibly put an ASTON or a TVR in your next set of pics?
Thanks:cheers:

That's a nice set of pics. I like the last yellow M3 shot, great angle and speed. Try not to put the car so close to the edge of the photo though. Great update overall.

WOOPEE! 500th post!:dopey:

As a thank you, here you go! It was great fun doing these shots.

First up, the TVR T350 at Deep Forest, an awesome track:

This one is a slight departure from my "style"
Of course, my high-speed side shot;)

But that's not all. I also had a hoot driving my Aston around Trial Mountain

Again, not a style that appears in this gallery too often.
WEEEE!:p
This moment suprised me a bit. I had no clue I could get a shot this good.
:)

Hmm. I didn't think it looked so bad, but I guess I shall take your advice. I'm trying to please the customer anyway, right? Oh, and thanks for the compliments!

Wow! How did you get the wheels to look that? Mine always look crap when I try to do shots like that.

To do that, I use one of the side angles (the ones in the thirties) farther on. Set frame speed to 1/125 or 1/100, sometimes less depending on speed. Sometimes, you will want to manual focus, usually on the rear half of the car.

Nice dude, I'm also curious about the wheel shot, that's hot!

Once you get the hang of it, it really isn't too difficult

In aday or two, I think I'll post my M coupé in Seattle pictures left over from this week's CCCL. Until then,

Lovin' the TVR and Aston shots. 👍 You got potential buddy. I know you got skills so try and challenge yourself to some harder more rare angles and stuff in 2-4 pictures or less. Keep up the work. :)

I'll see what I can do. I also just got GIMP up and running. Expect to see some totally butchered shots accompanying my updates as I try to learn how to use it.:guilty:

I used to have gimp, now I do PS7. GIMP I feel you have more freedom and options to choose from, but for quality its pretty much the same as PS7 and just takes time to get familiarized with it.

It's that and the fact that I have no experience with photo editing. The problem I'm stuck with is how to put a selection onto a new layer. As soon as I figure that out, well, we'll see what happens.;)

EDIT: Just found Pink-the-Floyd's tutorials. I will be putting out some um... creations as soon as I go through them. Wish me luck!:nervous:

Well i would just like to say thanks for the shots they are great!!
The 4th TVR shot is amazing! and the 2nd and 6th DB9 shots well:drool:
+rep for these pics! 👍

not bad. i like the last two aston martin shots. the 2D update looks pretty good too. my only beef with the TVR shots is maybe their lack of color, and they could be a little bit brighter.

I sat down to take some new shots, but somehow wasn't in the mood. What you get are my leftover shots from this week's CCCL.

I went for the burnout one. I apologize for lacking any real great shots in this update:indiff:. However, I did spen about three hours playing around with GIMP. I thought I would make a banner for my gallery. What do you think?

I want this to be really good. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (I was thinking about putting some of my other pics on the walls of the tunnel, but have no clue how to do it..)

Well, Thanks and no problem!

I guess using a grey car could make the pictures seem a little greyish. Upon review, a few of those could be a bit brighter.

Great shots man. I really like the latest update.

Thanks a lot! I'll try to get some updates in with few, high quality shots.
