What i'm hearing now is some awesome Gran Turismo 1 music, am i right?

Well, I wish I could talk about every single gallery but that would make the podcast far too long so that it will take up more then 50 mb and my uploader does not allow to upload files larger then 50 mb.

Trust me. It's not the talking that makes it long. Quite the opposite in fact. It's all the time you take saying "Uuuum... uhhh... hmmm... Uh.... Oh... yes... here we go... Oh... oops, I accidentally closed out the internet, hold on a few hours. Ok.... almost... mmm.... ah... there we go. Now, we go to this gallery..."

One thing I would like to be implemented on the podcasts would be some kind of a "what's up today" list, either in the update post or in the beginning of the podcast itself. Half an hour is a pretty long time to listen to something so I'd like to know beforehand if there is something very interesting near the end. Otherwise, quite a good job! 👍

Well Podcast #3 I couldn’t fully download because of my crappy internet, so after two hours it only downloaded half the episode (twice). Luckily this time everything was downloaded in just an Hour and a half 👍 :lol:
But really, Podcast #4 was excellent Ultrashot... and you even included 3 awesome songs (It was nice hearing the GT1 intro again after all these years). Oh btw, thanks for commenting on my gallery! I certainly need some new additions, but I just cant find the right shot to post. Something from the 80's perhaps? :)
By the way (Don't think you can change this, but) the transition between songs and speaking sounds a bit rusty. There is a noticeable difference in the noise (quality/background volume, or whatever) which jumps up after the end of each song. It isn't a real issue, but it's just something which would sound a little smoother if changed.

I think I'll PM for a song request 👍 ... oh yes.
 
May I ask where you find the songs, when people PM you the suggestion? I've been looking for a few, and I also know a song for you to look for, but it's hard to find on the place that I search.
Or do you mean that you'll look for the CD in your, probably endless, collection of CDs?

Mini: I have a large collection of songs, and since these people seem to like music like I do it, the requests they submit seem to be right in front of me when I look throughout my music map :lol: But if I don't have a song, I look for it, we all know where people sometimes get their music from, I'll not go in this detailed ;) But if I cannot find a song in anyway, I move to a new submission. Crappy thing is when I have to rip a song from my cd's, I have to convert them, sometimes twice but it all goes fast 👍
 
Is it just me or did the Podcast #5 get cut in the middle of a sentence? :confused: Sounded very good that far! 👍

How long was it Greycap? Rayquasa says he only gets 5:52....It should be 28 minutes long...
 
Around that length and only a bit over five megabytes. You hadn't even finished the "index" when it abruptly ended.

Just spotted the error, it did not converted the whole podcast. Apologies but donæt worry, I'll try to get the complete version up ASAP 👍
 
Nice episode. I found that there were a few improvements on the previous episodes, such as the smooth transition between songs and speaking. 👍

Btw, I never said that I don't want to run the Tournaments anymore... I would love to run the upcoming comps, but just won’t have the time. ;)

Edit: No song requests this time round?
 
Nice podcast Ultrashot. Personally I didn't think it was as good as podcast 4 because my name wasn't in this one....only joking :)
Completely agree with you about the competitions there is way too many at the moment but also there is way too many galleries in my opinion too.
As I have posted like 2 updates this week. One was yesterday and in a measley half an hour it was off the first page of the galleries and on to to second. No one looks at the second page ever! I only got 2 comments and that was it I think it is quite a good update but if no one can be bothered to look at it I might as well leave and give up. I dont really want to do that though as I have about anotnher 3 more updates before I will go back on GT4to get more piccys. Now I am not pointing the blame to all these newbies but they could have doen what I did for a bit which was look at other peoples gallerys before posting your own.
Sorry about this very, very, very, very long reply I am just stressed out at the mo. Atleast your podcast sort of relaxed me while I was doing flippin french homework. (Yes thats right I still am at school)
Oh I got a new toy that you might be intrested in Ultrashot it basically a mouse mat (For computer) but you can use a pen on it, it is brillaint in photoshop makes it so easy to go around the edges of things and not leaving jagged lines. Takes a while to get used to though.
Any ways great podcast can't wait for next time. Sorry again for the long reply.

Is there a way to download the files to listen at home?

I can't seem to find it, and can't listen to them here at work.

My boss gets nasty when I'm listening to podcasts instead of doing my job. Go figure... :rolleyes:

The files are MP3, you should be able to play them with Windows Media Player or Winamp.
 
I know Ray, but not at work...

I wanted to know if there's a way of downloading them tom my pendrive so I can listen to them at home.
