Photo missing in Car Menu...???

Well, someone probably posted this related thread before but I don't have time to search over 500+ pages of threads. Therefore: (here's the story)

1) I used to own a fat old 40GB PS3 then it die. Now, purchased a new "Slim" PS3. I have transferred the save file from the old PS3 into the new machine. Everything was working perfect but I encountered something funny. :sly:

2)When I enter the car selection menu or you guys called the "Garage", in any different way you look at it, it should have you car photo along with the name of the vehicle, Horsepower... blah blah blah. Now, some of the car photo could not been shown again when I entered. (Not on every car but a good 40% of my entire collection).

I'm not sure it was the process of file transfer which caused this problem or it's a version update bug.

Had anyone encounter the same problem???

Just click Triangle, and then select Create Thumbnail for all Cars. 👍

Not for all cars...unless it appears in a lot of cars. It can take a while to make thumbnails for all cars. I suggest searching which cars dont have thumbnails and the press triangle and "create thumbnail"......

By transferring your savefile, it looses a lot of car thumbnails.
You need to do the above for as well the standard cars as the premium cars.
NOTE: this will take at least 30-40 mins if you have about 1000 standard cars (so for the standards only...!)

None of your RM cars will say RM in the name of it either

Only way i found out to fix this is to delete them and make a new one

I have 2,000 cars with 1700 standard cars and it took over 3hrs just for the standards.
