MajarvisI will admit that I have not read through this entire thread. However, what I would like to know is, with PhotoMode, does it save the photos to the memory first, and THEN, you can transfer them to a USB drive, or do you have to save them to a USB drive immediately? Thanks![]()
Overclocked4121000kb is one MB if that makes it any clearer for ya.
OmegaGTit's about 200~250KB for the SUPER FINE Jpeg (1280x960) taken in "Photo Travel".
Here are some shots I took yesterday (hope the link works).

Well a google is 10 to the 100th power. So a number with a hundered zero's.Liquid Li0nUntil now the latest I know is a number of bytes equal to a 10 followed by 100 zeroes (!) but I forgot the name of that Byte specification.
Try reformatting it on your PC using FAT32 and try again...Hydemy USB Sandisk Mini 128MB doesnt work in photomode
i get an error when its trying to save
It's somewhat surprising that no one ever thought of that before. Most modern storage devices use the NTFS file system and the PS2 was released prior to the development of NTFS, so it makes sense that the PS2 wouldn't recognize a foreign file system.fporto_brTry reformatting it on your PC using FAT32 and try again...

Perhaps, but I think one of the things that influences whether or not the PS2 recognizes the USB drive is, sometimes manufacturers will format it a special way (if they include special software with it for example) so that may have some effect. Also, maybe it just needs a "refresh" making sure it actually is formatted (sometimes USB drives will come not formatted).VTGT07So maybe its just that the PS2 doesn't recognize a FAT filesystem?
MajarvisFor my USB drive anyway, when I go to format, the only options that come up are FAT, and FAT32, there are no options to format it using NTFS (and I'm running Windows XP Pro).
