The Cien was never in production, but the Le mans Quattro is allowed because it will be in production soon.

Well, i guess that is true... tho it was availible to a select few who had the connections and the dough to buy a concept replica.

I really do not understand the theme, doesnt make any sense, why are these cars eligible opposed to every other car out there? It doesnt matter, but im just curious...

They are all "supercars," meaning they are all very fast/beautiful/rare compared to your average sports car.

But arent there more supercars than that?

Please, I'd love to see where you got that tidbit from.

But arent there more supercars than that?

You'd think so, huh? Infact, CAR was pretty specific about which cars actually fit the term, and which ones can be billed "junior" supercars. I placed the NSX's on there because they were always billed as the "everyday Ferrari" upon release, but obviously in the game we don't have any Ferraris, Porsches, or Lambos. I treated the two RUF's as stand-in's for the 959, and the Gallardo is technically present in the Le Mans. They didn't consider the Viper or Corvette supercars per se, but I felt putting the Callaway in was fair, since it's similar to a coach-build type of car from the good old days. Technically the Cobras shouldn't be in there either, but that was another liberty I took.

Obviously any tuner cars were not eligible either. That's my long-winded explanation ;).

hmmm, I'll have to look. I think I saw it on a TV show, but I'll be sure to let you know if I find it on the internet.

EDIT: I have looked and that tidbit is no where to be found. It must've been heresay, but I could have sworn I heard it from a reputable source (MotorTrend TV or Autoweek, etc).
I apologize for going by memory, but I am only human. Forgive me if I look like an idiot now :dunce:

FIANL ENTRY

preview

i was going to put this in gt4 2.0 advanced but i was too late:grumpy:

i should have saved my ford gt entry for this week!

EDIT: oh, it's in the poll so maybe not! i have the copy of car's magazine with the 40 years of the supercar.

I will repost entry later, as i have seen the level of competition, i have to stick it up a notch!

There should be another rule:

-Anyone who manages to make the Spyker look good automatically wins ;)

it's be better if he brightened it up a bit though-then it'd be minto

By the way, what's with the lack of Aston Martins in the car list?:indiff:

Anyway here is my FINAL ENTRY:

Preview:

NSX shouldn't be in the list, it's not a supercar.

And which rims are that which are used on the yellow RUF? Dead_Poetic also had those on his FX45...

I'll probably enter with a Saleen...

Think again. The Honda NSX was Honda's first attempt at a Japanese road-going supercar. It's historic nevertheless and definately should be a part of this comp. 👍

I have those rims on many of my cars, they give it the shiny look, many of 440charger's cars have those rims on them....they are one of the PD wheels that come around in the used rims cycle, they are really really ugly, but if you up the contrast on them, and radial blur them, you have some damn nice shiny wheels...
