I know this going off topic a bit, but I was looking through the latest Canadian Tire catalogue and I had a good chuckle after coming across this picture. :lol:

that is SO gay. imn cool i have a 'simulated performance bonnet'. all it does is make my car go slower than stock but dont tell anyone that, thats not wahts important ;)

That's pretty cool. I was thinking today that we should start putting together a GT online magazine. We can have people design different pages with usefull information from the game with articles and what not.

I used to be the Editor in Chief for my high school paper so I know a little bit about journalism. Let me know if you are intrested through PM. We can start setting things up.

I was thinking about a GT mag for a while as well. Could have articles by all the top drifters, picture competitions, tuning guides etc...

Would have to be one of those new fangled pdfs that can embed video's though, so you could slot in some drift video's. But it'd be quite an effort to make, fortnightly/monthly?

I like this idea. I second it. How do you propose to set it up? A seperate thread for each week, like the photomode comp?
 
I'll shoot the mods about the contest to make sure it's kosher.

yes, something like photomode comp.

the first theme whe made some sugestions and vote for the first theme, than the second theme its chosen by the winer of the first...very easy!!!

and i think its more fun than the photomode comp.

not jsut top drifters amn, top racers too, should be sections dedicated to different cultures of car, cept rice of course :) (no by that i do not mean anything out of japan, I'm not a absolute 'I only buy milk in the 2 litre stuff' bogan, i mean cars that are only trying to look cool, in which they often fail anyway, Skylines already kick arse stock, dont wreck them with your supposedly better air suspension & neons & heavy bodykit). wow, i didnt see that rant coming.
 
i got a couple of great pics to use, i'll have to wait til tomorrow to modify though :dopey:
 
a regular comp would be great fun!

I'd like to see the themes be fairly specific, such as a particular marque, country or engine type, or even the style of magazine ie. road car review mag or hardcore race weekly - that sort of thing.

i had to use a m3, as there is no e39 m5, but it's close enough :)
