I have to say it doesn't look convincingly helical - the 'coils' seem to flatten out once they get past the windscreen.

Plus, the 'object' doesn't reflect on the car's surface.

That said, I'm not much of a fan of the effect anyway.

This could've looked a lot more convincing with just a tad bit more effort.

Very very very easy to make, but a pretty good looking effect nonetheless. Although 5 more minutes (reflection and a tad adjusting) would make it even better.
