I'd like car damage/wear like in Sega GT, I.e. parts wear out & need overhauls or replacement :)

Hopefully that will be in GT4......

Just something I thought I'd add...
NFS:HP2 had damage, but despite using basically the same engine, NFS:U didn't apparently because of licence issues. I understand that this was a last minute change, as EA had already destroyed an engine for development.

oil change ... I can just see it now...pulling into the GT Jiffy Lube during a race... depending on the game some realism just won't work i guess... i'll be getting my real damage kicks from Driv3r anyway...even though it might not have the detail and response that GT has always been good at providing, being able to see the bullet holes that i put in the car i'm driving is going to be pretty cool i think..

As nice as damage would be.. I'd rather they focused on adding more cars, more tracks, more modes, more options etc. to the game than put a great deal of time/money into car damage that I know will probably never end up as perfect as we'd all like or as KY would like himself...

I really hope they add 'weather' for each track, it would be fantastic to race on wet versions of all the tracks, plus adding day/night to all tracks would be great, these are things they can do within the constraints that the PS2 puts on them. Imagine racing on Cote D'Azur at nighttime in the wet :D
