So I exported my GT5 photos to XMB menu and copyd a foto and then It was asking: connect mediaservices. I plugd my USB in and it didn't found anything. Why?
Most people said try FAT32 I did it a few times but did not work any tips?

My guess is your USB is not formatted as FAT32.

Edit: Mark beat me to it. :)👍

Ecchi-BANZAII!!
The same way you format a HDD.
Right click on the USB drive and hit the almost impossible to miss "format..." link.

Never format a HDD:lol: Will try it out later. Thanks.

I just tried it out, I clickd at formating and then its was already saying FAT 32 ( standaard ) so I suppose its already FAT 32 isn't it?

If you see this:
FormatWindow.jpg

Click the dropdown where it says file system, select Fat32, then hit start.

At mine it already says FAT32( standaard) How can you make photo of screen? Then I can show you.

Ctrl+Alt+PrtScn

Then open Paint, Ctrl+V to insert it, Select and crop accordingly, save as jpeg, upload to photobucket, copy and paste IMG tag here.

Gewoon herformateren en opnieuw proberen er kan een fout inzitten. Zorg wel dat je eerst je bestanden ergens opslaat.

Sorry for not using English here is a translation:

Just reformat the USB and retry to copy your pictures. There could be a error in the format. Make sure you back up your files from your USB.

Thanks here is the picture:

Its a bit small but if you click on it you can read: FAT32 (standaard)

Well, mine's formatted as Fat, like my pic, try that and see how it works. It doesn't take very long, just make sure you back up anything on the drive you want to keep. You can always re-format back if it doesn't work.

If i remember correctly windows 7 does'nt do it rite, I had to format on the wifes PC running windows XP.

Where is the GT5 issue? GT5 exported them to the XMB so it worked fine.

Moved.

It's only Alt+Print Screen.
I tried FAT32 again *didn't work.
I tried FAT * didn't work.
Now gonna try exFAT * did not work :(

If you have it as FAT32 and it doesn't show up above the Playlists and folders in the "Photo" in XMG, it isn't supported which would be 0.001% chance so it's 99.999% broken.
But then again the PC read it so make those percent go to the PS3 so it's your USB slots that are broken.

PS3 reads the FAT32 and if it doesn't find the USB with that format, then it has broken USB ports.

The slots couldn't be broken because I can plug my USB charge cabelin and I can plug my cardreader in so maybe I'm doing it wrong. I go to a picture then hit square then click on kopie and then it asks: connect mediaserveses. How do you download your GT5 pictures from your PS3 to USB?
