Especially the dodo/kiwi.👍

Damn, we only get deer, mallard ducks, gold finches, and an occasional fox... At my Grandpa's, it's not too uncommon to see an eagle...

Right on Josh! You know, the deer with spots on them are more tender and taste better. ;)

Good luck hunting..., you ought to consider puting out a salt block, and making a tree stand where you can get a clear shot.

Last night, we had a bear that made three visits to the house. The first time it came, it ran before my dad got his gun... the second time, my dad shot in the dirt next to it to try and scare it away, but it came again in the middle of the night, swapped our trash can, and tore the sides off the recycling bin. Ouch.

Gun-loving Southerner.

Er, no, wait.

Raccoons are really cool, but they're some mean mofo's if you mess with them.

Haha, the deer with spots. 'm not going to a little bambi size deer!:p

I doubt it's legal to hunt in our neighborhood, but it might be legal to hunt with a bow. I couldn't shoot them if they were on the wildlife conservation area side, though. I don't even want to know how much trouble that would get me in.:scared:

My Dad and I are both avid deer hunters so don't think we haven't already thought about hunting them in our own backyard.

They'd put you on the Wildlife Conservation side and fire arrows at your eyes.

One of these days I'm going to take a picture of my closet for you. I'll make sure to leave the door to my gun safe open too.

Ack! I had a feeling it was something like that!:scared:

Wow, that's awesome man..

Only thing i ever see back in my backyard are Blue Jays and lizards...

I only see squirrels and birds in my backyard.:p

I hate Magpies and Cockatoos...they're just so ****ing annoying...but Kookaburra's are cool, they come round our place sometimes...:)

Nice backyard Josh, how did a deer get in your backyard?

Our yard isn't fenced in so it just walked in from the wildlife conservation area. This isn't the first time it's happened, but it's the first time my Dad thought to take pictures of one. It should happen more often now that I keep putting corn out there for them. Either that, or we'll just keep attracting more squirrels, and ducks.:irked:

Yesterday was the first time I actually saw and heard a squirrel talking. Man, those things are annoying! Loud, too! If I had a bb gun or something to throw at it, I would have solved that noise problem...

Here's two more pictures of that doe, and one of where she was standing taken from outside in the yard.

Here's a shot of the livingroom/backyard from the stairs. You can see those stupid ass ducks laying back there. Not that any of you will care, or anything, but my Dad named those ducks a while back.:odd: The dark one is Herman, and the white one is Melville. Herman Melville - Moby Dick, anyone?:odd: Don't ask me why he named them that.

This is an old picture, and so is the one above this one FYI. That stupid fake dog is no longer there, thankfully!

How about a real duck instead?

Fine, but I won't pay postage on it.

Fine, but you have to come catch it yourself then.

I dunno - coming to Kiawah for a duck sounds pretty stupid to me.

I hear the ducks hang out with a Dodo sometimes. Maybe you could catch him too.

Dodo died in 6BC. Everybody knows that.

No it didn't.

I see them flying around here all the time.:odd:

Dodo likes to waddle around my place.

Those are kiwis. You have no concept of Dodo.

Kiwi's can't fly though.

Then he's clearly drunk.

I wonder - does he have any Kiwis in his yard?
