If they cost about as much here as they did in America I'd love to pick up a GT500 Mustang...but alas thanks to a RHD conversion they're well over $100,000...

Left-hand drive roadworthy and standard cars 30 years or older are allowed, but any younger and they have to have a RHD conversion or they cannot be registered (and therefore not driven...or at least not unless you want to cop a big fine for driving an unregistered vehicle).

That's the main reason why late-model American cars are very rare down here lol. It's about AU$150,000 for a Camaro SS, anywhere from $75,000-150,000 for 2005-present Mustangs depending on year and trim, and about $140,000 for a Challenger SRT8. If you really want to splurge and get a Corvette ZR1? About $320,000 or almost the same as a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2.

In other news, this isn't technically a picture of "VTEC, Yo!", but what's going to go in 'er by next week:

The Kenwood KVT-532DVD headunit that was in The Cereal Box :D. Also going to wire in a Hella adapter for my new Waeco fridge/freezer and the remote locking kit I got for Christmas.

It's like steps on a ladder, I know others that have many more cars than I can ever dream of and others that just have one car, it's what makes the economy work in this country. Just think if we all could only ride the same bike and could not do anything to it, would be pretty boring.
