Pretty cool cover. I wish they release this here in December too, or else I'll have to import it.

I have this concert on a vhs to dvd-r rip (it's not my fault there´s no dvd available so far :P), but the image quality isn't very good. And although the sound is 2.0, everytime I watch it I wish I was there at the concert. It just looks so loud!

Can't wait for the DVD. :)

Hard to find a pic of the Pulse DVD cover but there is one here. Not that people need to know what it looks like of course!

Damn, I'm gonna be one happy chappy watching this on my new 46" DLP in 5.1 on a 500+ watt amp! The neighbours are gonna hate me :trouble:

Be a good neighbor and insulate. :)

Can't wait as well.... 👍

No, I'm a good neighbour really. :sly: Even if I did on one side of me they're often out or working (I do night shift so times vary for me) and currently the neighbours on my left have moved and the house is empty (though I guess there'll be new occupants by December).
If I do play it nice and loud (and that's 'if' as in 'when') I'll be sure not to bother people. I know what it's like to be forced to listen to someone elses music. Not nice.
The good thing about the Pulse DVD is that I was there! Well, possibly not on the night of the recording but I was at one gig and it was a great, great night! (well two if you include the opening night which ended abruptly after some seats collapsed  ) 👍

*jealous*

Well, when I play the DVD on my home theater it will be LOUD, that's the only way to watch this. But my neighbour from the right likes Pink Floyd, no problem there. And my left neighbours are my parents, so they're used to it already. :D

You live next to your parents? Ouch.

Be a good neighbour ... and play Pink Floyd even louder. I think this DVD is a must have for me, too. I'll be straight over to grab it at JB-HiFi when it's out!

No, I live with my parents. Only I have a small house instead of a room, like a guests house. Sad, I know... :P

Not really. That's what Ahmie has, so it's nothing bad. Just from the way you worded it. It sounded like Everybody Loves Raymond all over again.

If you like music and you don't like the album "The Darkside of the Moon" then you are mentally challenged. One of the best albums ever.

This thread is pretty old, I'm surprised I didn't reply to it the first time around. I'm a big Pink Floyd fan, my favorite albums probably being DSOTM and 'Obscured by Clouds', it doesn't seem like that many people listen to Obscured by Clouds though. A lot of the songs on it have a similar sound to Dark Side, and it has my two favorite Pink Floyd songs ever on it too, 'Wots...Uh the Deal', and 'Free Four'. The former being a very pretty slower song with a piano part that gets me every time, and the latter being a lighthearted sounding song about death with some incredible lyrics.

I'm interested in seeing what anyone else thinks of Obscured by Clouds.

Well obviously because Dark Side..., The Wall, and WIsh You Were Here are their most known albums.

I started out with The Wall, then moved to Dark Side, and Wish You Were Here.

This Christmas though, i'm getting Animals and The Final Cut, in which I know i'll grow to love because i've heard material from each album.

Then i'm going to move on to Atom Heart Mother because it seems to get pretty hyped at a PF fan site i'm apart of. Then i'll probably buy UmmaGumma or Meddle or somethin...idk yet...

Really, those are the most known albums? I wasn't asking about their most known albums though, I was looking for somebody elses feedback on a particular album.

I was replying to the part where you said "...not seem thatmany people listen to Obscured by Clouds"

I do beleive those are the most known albums...you hear either the material from them or just about them on the radio and tv quite a bit.

Money, Another Brick in the Wall ( +The Happiest Days of Our Lives), Hey You, Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, and Have a Cigar are some of their biggest hits...
