Pink S2000 in UCD

No, I am not looking for one!

I noticed the UCD content had changed completely and was checking out the cars on one of my accounts. In the UCD was an Ascari Red Pearl Honda S2000 (EU) '03 with low mileage. I clicked on the car and the car was not in Ascari Red Pearl (though that was the name that was against the car). It was (I believe it is called) Isis Red Pearl (the same colour that the Honda Fit used to appear in).

I bought the car and sent one to my main account just to see if it retained its wrong colour. The car arrived with the Ascari Red Pearl description and a Paint Chip of that colour (I received the same when I bought the car) but the car was still Pink.

Someone in PD was obviously having an off day when that car was put into the revamped UCD. Needless to say, I am now checking every car that appears in case any other discrepancies like that appear.
 
I presume that nobody else has seen any UCD mistakes like the S2000.

Must be the rarest car in the game (if the UCD ever gets it corrected). The only Pink sports car you can curently buy. It turned up in my UCD on about Day 40.

With the extra colours and revised mileages for cars I suppose there was much more margin for error in the UCD. It looks as if the colour choice there has been expanded as I saw the Alfa V6 Spider in two colours.
 
I think the last update made it so cars colors swith around, isntead of always being the same. It is probably more likely to get random cars in pink now.

Do you know what Ascari Red Pearl is supposed to look like? Because Isis Red Pearl is not named much differently, so they could be both pink.

Either way, it is pretty cool to have a pink S2000. =)
 
Ascari Red Pearl is a Ferrari style Red (pretty much), though maybe a little deeper red. The description of the colour on the car does not match the colour that it actually came in. I suspect that other than the Colt, Fit and LFA there are not a lot of cars that can be obtained in Pink in the game.

Someone at PD who "painted" the car obviously picked the wrong colour. Admittedly it is a Honda colour, just one that is not available on the S2000.
 
I also had some cars with new colors.

The Toyota RSC Concept that is normally silver had one of those special TVR colors that goes from green over purple to blue.
 
I just got a metalic orange Subaru Imprezza Super Touring Car from my ucd, already had a silver one from befoore 1.06. Lookin forward to finding color variants of racing cars!
 
Yea there has been weird car colors showing up in ucd lately like the catheram showed up in red instead of its usual color
 
Just a heads up here on how the colours work in the UCD and OCD:

1. The colours are specific to the player and will vary from player to player. The OCD cars are usually a different colour to the same car in the UCD though.

2. Since the latest update, you will find most of the colours in the UCD have changed, however the selection of models/colours is still specific to you, in other words someone else might coincidentally also see black Veyrons in the UCD but other cars will be different colours to yours.

Therefore if you want used cars in a different stock paint scheme to what you keep seeing in the UCD, you either have to hope it turns up in the OCD in a different colour, or trade for it, or wait to see if PD refresh the colours again, or repaint it :)

EDIT: Occasionally cars turn up in more than one colour in your UCD but this is rare and they will still be specific to you (i've seen this with the Charger and the Furai and perhaps one or two others)

Actually, correcting myself, I am wondering if PD didn't just refresh the UCD colours but made them vary as they did in GT4, as I think i've already seen a couple of cars turn up at different times in different colours. Much better!
 
I have seen the Alfa V6 Spider in three colours so far in the UCD.

My S2000 however is an error on someone's part as the colour does not match the colour description.
