Piquet Jr. to NASCAR?! Please NO

That be funny. Honestly I kind of want to see him do good, kind of follw Montoya's footsteps. I just think its good that NASCAR is getting more forgein drivers.
 
Its about NASCAR, end of story, there is nothing related to F1 at all beyond Piquet being a disgraced F1 driver.
Shall we open a thread here about Johnny Herbert in the BTCC? Tarquini challenging for the WTCC?
 
I can't call where this should be leaning towards NASCAR because well its a NASCAR story. If Nelson Piquet Jr. wants to go NASCAR I say good for him and go for it and will look out for him in future NASCAR races and practices, not huge on the Craftsman Truck series though.
 
I don't really care where he would want to go to... That's his business but I'd say, don't be like Montoya. Just race fair and build up your reputation as a race car driver...
 
Montoya did do that, sure he's had his 'bad' times in the media, but I'd still label him as a good driver, he's like Tony Stewart of old as far as how the media knocks him.

I think this thread just went NASCAR :sly:...

Well to be honest, he's a great driver but yeah he had some bad times in the media... And he also drives a bit dirty sometimes like the race in Nascar, I can't remember which race that was but he knocked around his team mate and won the race. That was just pathetic but again, he's a driver and we never know their feelings...

Yea any Mod that drops in should make the move. LoL true true Montoya Jr. 'rubbed' a teammate a bit to take the win, but hey it makes for great ESPN and local news replays :sly:. He's like, dear I say a T.O. of NASCAR, LoL every sport needs one.

Yeah agree it's great for ESPN and local news... Well to be honest again, he's a T.O. of NASCAR... Obviously every sport needs one and I agree with you!!!
 
LoL, could you picture a T.O. in the PGA Series. I'd love to see Tiger Woods go off on a reporter and his Caddy and blame his 9 irons and golf balls for his poor play at a game.
 
Compromise - the new thread is OK, but I have moved it to a more appropriate forum.

As for the news, it's kind of meh - I reckon it will be a good long while until Piquet Jr. ever gets considered for F1 again, so in the meantime, he's probably lucky to get any form of drive in any self-respecting motorsport right now.

And given that NASCAR is going to be in GT5, Piquet Jr. will be able to practice those spins skills at home too :dopey:

LOL!!! That's gonna be funny mate, will laugh like hell!!! On the next day, he played well and told the reporter that nothing wrong today and everything worked fine... Next day, he started blaming his 9 irons back for his crap play :P

Oooowwh that's gonna be a hack of a joke in my life!!!
