I'm not convinced about having any radio chat updating you on the status of whatever. On-screen indicators can do that nicely, and in real time. However, the idea of pushing a button to inform your pit crew that you are about to pit is a good one. They could make it so that if you do not indicate you are pitting, and then pull in, they are not ready and so you have a slower pit stop. If you do indicate, they will be ready for you and your pit stop will be quicker.Alright how about this then if your tyres start wearing out and fuel was running out, it would be nice if your team told you need to push because you need to pit the next lap and a button on the D-pad that you could push that would tell you team that your pitting as you have damage or something wrong with the car.
I do, definitely. If the pitting side of things has been beefed up in terms of animations and focus, then yes, they need to introduce things like pit-lane speed limits and limiters on cars. There also needs to be (optional?) consequence for breaching that limit.Anybody like the idea of having a pit lane speed limiter for race cars and you having to drive the car down the pits manually and if you retire the car you can drive it into the garage.
That'd work, or even a forced stop. It all depends on what focus PD is putting on things - is it more about the driving experience, or the racing experience? How about they fine you credits if you breach the pit lane speed limit.
I like the idea of the pit board. Radio chat in race games tends to annoy me after a while. It could be good if done right, I just turned Grids off, options make everyone happy.
I wish the HUD wasn't so cluttered and the Lap timer and counter weren't permanently on the screen, my plasma's starting to show sign's of some serious image retention, especially when in interior view and the numbers are solid white against a black background.
I would like the option to turn this information on when I need to see it (the timer can pop up for a few seconds when splits are crossed and lap position changes when they happen can pop up) or at least make it semi-transparent/less bright.
I have the that screen problem with my TV and it got pretty bad with Forza I think it is just because the TV is getting old.
The only slow enough cars from which I'm able to see those pit boards are the only cars I'm not going to drive, I'm afraid.

They seem to manage OK in F1 💡
They also have live radio chat in F1 so the pit crew and driver are in constant communication about the state of the car, race, weather etc. They seem to manage OK in F1 💡
