pit crew sound not coming threw head phones

I'm have trouble getting the menu voice and pit crew audio threw my headphones and noticed when I had the dualshock turned on the audio was coming threw the speaker. I swear I had turned it off some time ago and now I only see option to turn volume down but not off and still not getting threw my A40s. Everything else works fine just wat I explained, anyone else have those problem. I run t300 n A40s.

Turn the ps4 on at the console, leave your ds4 off. The ds4 sound should default to speakers/headphones ( does for me ).

yeah that didn't work because I had controller off I race with a wheel and only noticed speech was going threw dualshock when I turned it on after I think it might be a bug
