during Endurance races, is there really any need to Pit in? or could ya just keep goin without pits
Excellent suggestion.Solid LiftersTry racing one and find out.
For the first part of your statement, yes it is a lot more fun to choose a car that is equal to the cars you'll be racing against. If you you win by a mile, then what's the point? Winning isn't everything. Having fun, and racing against cars that will be a challenge is the fun part.outlaw4lyfeso are you sayin ull only use cars that are relatively the same speed as the 1s on track or are you sayin you pit in just cause it happens in real life
I'm saying that I only use cars that are approximately the same speed as the AI cars. I only qualify to see how the car runs against the field. If I can put a car on the pole by more than 1 second per lap, I won't run that car unless I can reduce power to make it more competitive. And even when I do get the car dialed in to match the AI cars, I start from 6th position to make it more interesting.outlaw4lyfeso are you sayin ull only use cars that are relatively the same speed as the 1s on track or are you sayin you pit in just cause it happens in real life
I've tried that a number of times, but I found it hard to get a hot lap during a race. It always seems that you're in traffic when the tires are good, and by the time you've got a clear track, the tires have gone away.LoudMusicHowever, I do sometimes race any particular car on the endurances just to get a bunch of hot laps in that certain car, no matter what the competition is for the race.
outlaw4lyfehow i see it, once 100% of game is complete, i mite consider going back and just racing them in similar speed cars, but for now while im not at 100% ill just keep destroyin em
kenseiyou have fun with that little boy.![]()

Okay that's it, outlaw4lyfe you're out of the loop. I suspect that in addition to having problems writing/typing, you probably can't read very well, since I was trying to warn you politely that people around here don't buy the kind of crap you're selling (namely, typing like a punk and behaving like one as well). You know, you remind me of someone, his name is Bryce302 and he's almost as annoying and disrespectful as you. Almost, but not quite.outlaw4lyfelol look at ya wit ur pathetic insults biatch

I thought Bryce302 was the worst I had encountered on GTP, until I saw you, outlaw.

AndertonGuys, come on. I played GT3 the same way the first time I completed it. I got one F1 car and that was it. Sure, I got pretty bored and didn't think I wanted to play it again, but that's called learning the hard way, and it's the best way to learn. Once I found GTP and started paying attention to tuning and learning to drive more than a few select cars, I instantly started having more fun.
This guy just wants to know about pitting in, not what you think of how he plays the game. So, in order to actually address your question, outlaw4lyfe, pitting is not just done because we want to mimic real-life racing. Sure, racing the Super Speedway Endurance doesn't require that you pit in, but try the Trial Mountain or SSR11 enduros and you'll find that pitting is absolutely necessary.
Having a "2Fast 2Furious complex" is perfectly alright, but typing lazily presents you to the other GTP users as uneducated. So if you want anyone to pay serious attention to your queries, outlaw4lyfe, you'll have to get aquainted with your shift button and start using capitals, periods, and apostrophes.
By the way, since no one else has done it in here yet,
Welcome to GTP outlaw4lyfe!

neon_dukeWell, yeah, if you're bringing a flamethrower to a bar fight, then you don't really need to worry about accuracy very much. But it does kind of take the sport out of it, doesn't it?
