Sure, make people watch my horrible lap!
Braking is always one of the tougher things to get used to with a wheel. On top of that, the braking threshold is very sensitive in PCARS2. In PCARS1, I could stand on the brakes a lot more, and rarely lock up, and I run without assists. In PCARS2, I frequently have to lower the brake pressure, and only use about 50-70% of the pedal travel for most situations. My T3PA pedals come with a brake mod that increases the pedal resistance after about 50% pedal travel, so it actually feels very good for modulating the brakes, when the car is near the top of the braking threshold. In some cases, like high downforce high speed braking, or braking into an uphill braking zone, I can stand on them with everything my leg has, and get to 100% pedal travel, and not lock up.
And yes, with practice, you will become faster. It's common for new wheel users to be slower at first, but it won't take long to find that speed! You'll be able to pay more attention to finer settings and car feedback with a wheel, now that you have proper feedback and input modulation.
