You really dont have to worry about it until it gets to 15% or so but yes they do go through 1-2 engines every race weekend so I'd say that is pretty accurate.

Well clearly that is retarded, and Indy Car needs to start doing 24 hour enduro races. that reliability is god awful. I mean put that in context, F1 cars go through fewer engines over a whole season.

How severe is it, and why in the hell is there engine damage when driving these cars, how fast do the engines destroy themselves in real life? Are you driving a Honda, that might be the problem?

I know I don`t run anymore (Due to time) but you are fine up until about 25 damage. We use the IndyCar every Friday so if anyone has questions feel free to let me know. In real life I believe they change after 1,000 miles. So they usually change engines every few races.

I'm on my 4th motor for the season in f1 2018 and I'm gonna need one more before season is over. Indy car is junk

Sorry, my tune didn't load my final drive was to short or something, it wasn't like that in the first lobby or for the 10 minute qualifying.

Sorry guys I was asleep and woke up like 15 minutes ago to read a text saying work had been cancelled tomorrow friday,
So I could have bloody raced,
It's sounds like you guys had some good racing and it's a shame because I dailed the car in testing the night before to get consistent tyre wear and min engine damage, .

All hail the Indy car

lol I know I know, was trying to ignore the money comparison.

The 2018 f1 car cost around $15 million, but to develop it, somebody is getting rich, and somebody is getting a little less rich.
F1, where billionaires race to become millionaires.

As for Indy car, who cares.
Anyway

Sorry I left, wasn’t doing that again.

You know what they say colts jugs or could that be colts man breasts ,

Only kidding colts ,

In for a penny in for a pound .

After looking at the points I can already tell how this season is going to go and anyword on the damage being removed or somewhat reduced ??
Ditto to this. These Indi cars suffer too much serious damage (notwithstanding very quick tyre wear) from the slightest touch or impact. Kinda kills it especially having to endure lengthy races or time spent in the lobby for the night running approx 2 to 2 1/2 hours, maybe even 3 hours everything included including abandoning a lobby, starting a new one for whatever reason to restart a session.

Generally it's not as much a problem but for the fragile Indi cars it is IMO.

:mad::lol:
LOL u didn't get damage thatt prevented you from winning

Preventing me from winning is a loose assumption!! You’re forgetting I had 10 push to pass available that I did not use.:lol:

Great racing yesterday on that last race @Stanc03.

@Alex ONeill I don’t know how we survived to your pass on the uphill kink. Shouldn’t have worked. Great pass:bowdown: @1:30:50

What a great battle CB, and congrats on your win in race 2!!!!

Thank God is anyone making a comeback ? and this dosent mean we should start pushing each other off the track now :sly:

Well I am sure @Alex ONeill will invite back all the usual suspects, and inform them of the change, hopefully they stay. I know they run open wheel in their leagues with damage off.

As far as not to start pushing each other around, I am going to agree, but make an exception for you and Onespace.:cheers:
