When your B-Spec driver is in a endurance race, do you have to help him pit or will he do everything automatic for 24 hours? Because i don't want to help him all the time. Especially when i'm at school and that Spanish idiot needs a stop.

he can do it automatically. set the pit strength to about 90 at the start then once you have a lead put it at nearer to 60/70. or just off

I'd advise turning off the pit strength as it can cause problems. Sometimes in a long endurance race the drivers don't have time to regain energy and will pit every lap to change driver.

He pits himself. You can change the settings so he pits when he reaches a certain strength or when he has bad tires and/or runs out of fuel.

I've heard this, but I set it at 10% for my only B-Spec enduro(4h Roadsters), and it worked just fine. I tried shuffling the order to get my best guy(~lvl24) in for the end and found that if you only let two other drivers drive, they recharge to almost but not quite 100%. They won easily by over a lap with no help after the first 45 minutes in a stock(but good) Miata on whetever the best allowed tires are BTW.

Not trying to say it doesn't happen, I just don't know why it would unless it's set to pit with a lot of strength left for some reason.

"off" is best setting. If you have it set anywhere else, he will pit EVERY lap in a long race, and you wont win( found that out the hard way on 1 of the 24hr races)In the off setting he will only pit when he is low on fuel. And it always adds the correct amout of fuel to finish the race.

So do they regain strength slower as the race goes on and on? I'll run a 24 sooner or later so I guess I'll learn how it works when I do. I did notice that they run out of strength a long time before they run out of tires or fuel, but that's not surprising. They seem to do it the same way as the other cars do. Also, do they pit when they are low on fuel or when the tires get bad? because 99% of the time the fuel lasts WAY longer than the tires do.

Sorry, don't really mean to hijack the thread, just wondering while I'm here.

Just be aware that the game will allow Low mental strength drivers to calculate their pit window.......WRONG......
This results in ether.....

1 Realy bad tires resulting in drifting every corner resulting in realy bad lap time and spins....
or 2 Not enough fuel for a hole lap resulting in 50MPH for the rest of the lap.

This may not matter if you OVER power the opposition completely.

If you have 4 drivers and driver 1 cant recover his bars to full after drivers 2,3 and 4 have completed there laps then the driver B-spec levels are too Low for the event.

it depends mate.

when I did my 24 hours la sarthe, i only had 3 drives and they did fine..
I set my pit to 0 and let the car run out of gas to the point when it just automatically does it.. cause after x amount of laps, the drivers have next to none in energy. if I set it to 10, it would just keep putting.

which race are you doing?

Just as an example, this is what I have been doing lately for the B-spec 24Hr. Le Mans to grind my way to Level 40:

1. Use X2010.
2. Select 4 drivers.
3. Start race.
4. Set Pit Strength to 10%.
5. Come back 24 hours later and collect my 1st place Cr. and XP. ;)

They will pit automatically for bad tires/fuel as needed, regardless of strength setting, even if it is set to OFF. I set mine at 10% so all 4 drivers get experience from the race. Contrary to popular belief, they do not pit every lap in a long race. And even if they do in the end (due to strength recovery issues), the X2010 is so many laps ahead, it won't matter, lol. 👍
