This is by far the best video game that i have ever played in my life. PERIOD! Better than GranTurismo, Better than Halo, Better than GTA: San Andreas, Better than any game you can think of. Please give this Awesome game a chance. You have nothing to lose.

I am just a dedicated Planetside player dedicated to bringing more players to the community. I have been a member of the GTP message boards for a while now so you know i didn't just sign up here to spam this. I am doing it out of love for an incredible game that I want to see thrive. Thanks for taking the time to check this thread because I know you FPS addicts will love this game.

Understandable CS is a good game, I like it too. I definitely know now you will like Planetside, and best thing is, you can pick up Planetside and the expansion pack for it, for only $10 after the free trial is up because i know you're gonna want to get it.

Why would I want this when I have Halo, UT2k4, and Medal of Honor? All of which are based heavily on online play.

What makes Planetside so great? What if I want to play the game and my internet connection is down? I think I'll pass.
 
First Of all Planetside Is Far better than any standerd FPS multiplayer mainly due to the community , You cant even compare it to Games like Halo2 Or UT because of its scale in games like Halo2 or UT youll never have 200 + People fighting on battlefield and have Multiple Armourd vehicals all gunned and manned with air support, its not that these other games lack vehicals but youll never find the same amount of teamwork that you do in planetside . Seeing 20 + Large battle tanks steam rolling a base is really an impressive sight.

The Infantry side of things is just as good Teamwork being a strong aspect but soloing is also a really large part of the game . Planetside fits all roles if your a driver , gunner , support guy , lone grunt , commander , piliot and many others.
 
Well I tried to download the trial but I am not paying $10 for the trial. I don't have a credit card/paypal account anyway.

Edit: Ok, so I received a serial code through email, now what? Do I download the installer? The email doesn´t say where I´m supposed to use the code.

This is a game I amy be interested in getting into soon, over the years it's gone from very buggy (so I've heared) to very good (so I've heared) and I'm interested in getting into at leastone mmo game in my lifetime so I may be getting it soon.

Thats great to hear Live4speed. As far as i know Planetside is the ONLY MMOFPS on the market so you will definitly be in for a new experience. Look me up when you get on. My name over there is the same as here. Thanks again dude. Peace!

I´m still trying to figure what I have to do. I clicked on the link you gave, the Free Trial Offer one, and they sended me an email with this Access Code, but I don´t know what to do now. Do I have to download the Installer? Do I have to pay something? Because I won´t.

A little help please, I really want to try this game out.
 
You download that installer and then through Launchpad you will download the game (if it works like I think it does).

Yeah, I guess it´s something like that, I just don´t want do download 1gb for nothing. So I´ll wait for a answer on that one a little longer.

I download at 35k/s usually, so it would take a while. And I´m already downloading another file by torrent, which is slower, and it has 1,8Gb.
