Well, After getting most of the simulation mode complete, I've been thinking about restarting and changing my way of doing things...

How's this for an idea. Getting Gold on the Beginners Lic. Test. so I get the Miatia LS, then gaining the other licenses, getting golds on as many as possible, to get the cars. In my first go through I was successful getting all Golds on Beginner, Amat, IB, and Rally.

Using the Miatia LS, leave it stock and getting some T2's, and with a couple of the Beginner league races to break it in, get an Oil change and heading off to the endurance run. How's that for a restart?

Almost identical to my restart. Nail golds on the license, Use the arcade cars to open up all of arcade, knock off the time trials, and start the game with a nice garage. Throw T2's and an oil change on the miata, and take out the Roadster Enduro. Day 50, and you've got over 100,000cr and 7 (+/-) cars in the garage.

Do all arcade then the license's and get golds in license tests. Then the challenge, you are not allowed to buy anything except tires, wheels, wash, and oil change. You cant buy cars either and must use Prize cars and no upgrading...

Complete Arcade
Complete Time Trials
All Gold licenses
Only use cars uve won
No tires, wash or oil change

I won't take that challenge, because I love upgrading the suspension and tinkering with the handling. I enjoy that more than the horsepower mods. I like getting a good car and driving it like it's on rails. I like even more taking a car that's a little more challenging to drive and taming it's handling. Like a Skyline for example.... A car that naturally loves to drift, take it and try to make it handle like the ZZII, or RGT, without drifting..... THATS a challenge.

First time I've done the time trials... they are a challenge! Frustating fun!:D  :D

u know wat i meant, dont buy n e tires etc, but u can still do upgrading as it wouldnt be as fun.

I'm with you, I didn't bother at first, then it bothered me, so I went back. There were a couple that were hard, but you can get them.

I've driven so long with the ASM and TCS off, that doing the time trials in Arcade is tough. Is there a way to turn that off over there?

Unfortunately, there is no way to turn ASM/TCS off in the time trials. I've even tried in the options to turn it off, to no avail.

Good luck in the time trials. They are tough, but not impossible. The fun part of those, I found, was doing them before you start sim mode, then again after. Befreo = very tough, after = relatively easy.

Good luck

Seems like finishing the Time Trials first would be the biggest bonus. You'd get the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 and be able to pretty well sweep through the open races. You wouldn't even have to worry with gold on the licenses.

How about this Challenge? I get in a Toyota GT-One and you get in a Mini and try to beat me at Superspeedway? If you cant go fast with 90HP, 900 wont help...

That would actually be a funny race.

Instead of SuperSpeed way, where HP and speed does have an effect, how about SSr11, or Complex, where HP is less an issue, and Handling is more of a concern. :D There I might be able to see you as you cross the finish line ahead of me. ;)
