I'll be there for the Sunday night one.

Does anyone want a guest for the Sunday afternoon one? I'd prefer to do that one so I can catch an earlier train back to London.

Surely the place is booked until 10pm anyway so you might end up with an extra hour with less people if you talk the organisers round 💡

Will Kazunori Yamauchi be present do you think?

Definitely not, if I thought for a second he would be I'd have cancelled my plans and gone myself!

course hes gona be there.. he will be handing out gold plated skyline GTR's aswell and a hand signed copy of the game.. if hes not im gona come on here and post loads of **** threads about how im dissapointed and how PD has broken countless promises ect ect ect

Some games are not to be photographed though. I really hope GT5 isn't one of them (Although I kinda do since that will mean something new and unseen xD)

You will be told on arrival what you can and can't photograph.

Your right it has been mentioned or updated today that some games are not to be filmed and people will be asked NOT to film them.

I would expect this to be games that are in earlier beta form though, just my take on it.
GT5 hasnt been treated this way before so I doubt us GT fans will be effected.

Its likely the demo shown will be the same as E3 / Comic Con.

Looks like E3 demo.

Hard to see clearly but it looks like it. It's looking good tup:

I've counted two controller and one wheel set up for GT5 so far.

^ Looking good! I hope it doesn't get too crowded, that place looks very stuffy on a very confined space!

-> SCEE could've rented an aircraft hanger-like venue (like Top Gear UK).

I was there Friday and it was not the E3 Demo. It had Rome, Toscana, Nurburgring, Tokyo and Madrid. Also a very few cars compared to E3. Only one NASCAR car and only one Super GT and about 5-7 street cars. The event was good IMO.

EDIT: I can tell you that there are 2 Wheel set ups and 2 controller set-ups. The controller set-ups are in 3D and the Wheel set-ups are in 2D.

Please, if someone takes pics or makes videos, don't use the R8. :D
In all the recent videos (ComicCon) they always used the R8 we know since Prologue.

The GT5 demo they had there was good, I really enjoyed playing it and I'm really looking forward to the full game. Also I forgot to say that there is a WRC car too if you pick to drive on Toscana, damn my memory is bad.

Some of the other games that were held there was Little Big Planet 2, Motorstorm: Apocalypse, The Fight: Lights Out, Heavy Rain: Move Edition, Playstation Move: Sports Champion and Kung Fu Rider. If I missed any out correct me XD

That site is waaaay to laggy/slow.PD's GT forum was quicker from what i remember of it.

Some impressions of the physics (ie no aids, realistic tires, and driving with a wheel) would be greatly appreciated.

Good man...you'd never guess you were from Yaaaaaawkshire

Gran Turismo 5

It’s good – but you were expecting that right? The car handling is spot on; the computer controlled cars are more aggressive; the graphics are sublime and the day/night cycle is an interesting feature. I’m not going to go on about this game too much – you already know you want it.

The 3D has been nicely implemented in Gran Turismo 5. Whilst not as subtle as Killzone 3, it doesn’t make you yelp in terror every time a bit of dust is kicked up.

I attended last night, and although the demo wasnt the e3 version it was still really nice, the physics seemed similar to the gt acadamey version however on purpose i did try to take two wheels of the track to see if the car just spun like it does it prologue, however i'm pleased to say this wasnt the case. I played it in 3d aswell and although it is good at first, i dont think its as nice as 2d version which i found alot more crisper, for example the speedo became blurry on the 3d version where as on the 2d 1080p one it was clearly readable.

luckily as you can see from the front page I was one of the only GTplanet users visiting on the friday, which meant i managed to get loads of game time lol i was glued in the driving pod.

damage was also a great addition, and the sls sounded amazing!

just to add, the scenery on some of the tracks such as rome was really nice and the sense of speed on nurburgring seems improved.

cant wait for the 2nd of Nov now :@
