These are unfortunately out of the box a joke, until you do some work of your own. The main support arm (WRC model type) are the most wobbly, unstable supports I could possibly imagine.

I just received my new SV audio playseat today and am completely disappointed for the amount of money. First the power cord for the audio goes about 2-3 feet past the chair itself (in a straight line). Second the smell coming off this seat is noxious, I have a headache from it and it burns my nostrils. Third the playseat shifter adapter does not fit on the unit as the speaker below blocks it. Fourth I did a lap of the Nurburgring and had to stop half way through because the wheel (T500rs) had slipped so far down that I couldn't turn the wheel properly anymore. Fifth the bottom seat Pad has two plastic pieces with no padding over them perfectly situated to dig into my @#$. (I have no clue what they are or what they are for)

Now I only fault myself for this as I do have a WRC model as well which I have done a lot of work on it in order to make it stable, but man after having done the work on the WRC I completely forgot how bad these seats are out of the box.

In the end after I drill a few holes at the base of the seat and nut an bolt it and do the same with the top portion it will be a pretty stable seat like my other one.

Just wanted to write this up so anyone (and me in case I forget again) looking to buy a playseat are aware that they are buying a pretty flimsy, wobbly and unstable seat. (at least with the support arm in the pic below)

For the record the worst purchase I EVER made in my life was a washroom vanity that was a total waste of money for what I got, this seat is giving that vanity a run for it's wasted money.

Went with a Playseat when GT5P came out, wasn't horrible but at the same time I was not impressed either. Figured it should have been about half what I paid for it.
When GT5 was about to release I sold it and got an Obutto. Could not believe the Obutto was almost the same price but was such a significant leap forward.
I recently added the triple screen stand and the whole unit is still as solid as the day I bought it. All I needed to do was drill a couple holes in the pedal plate which was no big deal. Works great with a buttkicker too.

I have the playseat Revolution with T500rs.
My only issues are with the height & reach of the wheel platform.
It's too high & too close. I'm 6'0" and this is clearly designed for T-Rexes.
Also, the pedal platform was not designed for the T500rs and its angle is too extreme. Customer support informed me that they will have an adaptor available by Septemberish.
Other than those two issues, it really does reek when you first get it, very toxic.
Mine is well built and very sturdy though. If I can figure a way to lower the wheel platform, without losing reach, I'll be happy with it.
