I recently upgraded my trusty old Playseat Classic to an Obutto rig and could not be happier. I have had my Playseat since 2005 and have put a ton of miles on it. Through out the years I made several modifications to it to help add more stability and strength to it. After the mods it ended up being at least as stable as the Playseat Evo but with a much more comfortable driving position. My friend has an Evo and i found the position of the pedal plate very uncomfortable and unorthodox. My main reason for upgrading was an all in one rig with a monitor mount.
So the guys at Main performance PC got me my obutto to my door in a shocking 3 days. Assembly took a little while but eventually it all came together. Coming from a playseat the Obutto is a huge step up in every way. To start off with, the seat could not be more comfortable, you can sit in this thing for hours on end and its not far off being on my couch. Its very supportive and thanks to the seat slider and recline feature i have found the absolute perfect driving position. Next the wheel and pedal mount plates are rock solid. I am finding my G27 feels much more precise than before and I feel this is just due to the wheel not moving at all. The shifter mount and keyboard tray are very sturdy and don't move at all. The only bit of wobble I get out of the rig is from the monitor mount and it is very slight, however I am running an older Vizio 32" LCD and its quite heavy.
Overall my only regret is not upgrading a long time ago, The Obutto really makes the playseat feel like a toy, The Obutto is just plain better in every sense. If you are considering an upgrade I strongly recommend it.
Just my two cents, I know there's a ton of opinion on this board, This is just the opinion of one dude.... Best regards
