UK PS3 Launch Avatar Design Contest​

I have been playing around trying to create a cool PS3-related avatar, but unfortunately my lack of skill, time and necessary effort has led me to appeal to the graphical artistes among you here at GTPlanet for help....

Rules

What I would like is a really cool PS3 avatar, 120 x 120 pixels. GIF files can be a maximum of 20.0 Kb. All other file formats must be able to be reduced to below 20KB using the 'Save For Web' option in Photoshop, since us moderators can only use files up to 20KB as avatars . Each member is allowed one final entry which should be clearly marked FINAL ENTRY. All other entries will not be eligible for the prize draw. The file can be any usable format e.g. .jpg, .gif etc.. Please note that any submissions should be available for use (as an avatar) to the rest of GTP. (As such, please also include a 100 x 100 and 110 x 110 version if you want).

Prizes

A prize of a One-Year Premium Subscription will be awarded to the best entry, and I will also use that avatar on release day and probably beyond (although I do have a tendency to change avatars fairly regularly ). In the event of the winner already having a Premium subscription, the winner will get a choice of whether to defer their prize or a book/CD of their choice (of equivalent value) from me (via Amazon!). The winner of the public vote (see below) will also win one year's free premium, and the runner-up will be awarded one month's premium.

Judging

I intend to judge the contest purely on the basis of personal preference, but there will also be a public vote, and if the winner of the public vote is not one of my three favourites, they will also receive a one month subscription to Premium. The public vote will either contain all entries (if there is 10 entries or less) or a shortlist selected by myself. I will also take into account any comments, feedback etc. given in this thread and may also seek independent opinions from anonymous sources to help me make up my mind and/or select the shortlist! Preference will be given to original work, but any images from the public domain can be used.

In an effort not to influence the contest, I will refrain from providing feedback/comments in this thread as much as possible myself, although I will endeavour to provide feedback via PM

Closing Date

The closing date for this contest is March 22nd, 2007 (10.00pm GMT) and winners will be chosen shortly afterwards.

That's sort-of why I added this:

So long as it looks cool, I don't mind. Animated gifs are sometimes difficult to make look really good because of the loss of quality of the base images, and file size limitations etc., but that wouldn't matter if the end product turned out really well...

Thanks for the entries so far!

Slight rule update: The file size limit of 20KB only applies to GIF files, since I am able to reduce the file size of other formats in Photoshop myself (by using the Save For Web option), but sadly this doesn't apply to GIF files.
