The PS4 in post 4262 looks a lot better.
 
Typical of Kotaku to release something so shocking that people can't help but flock to their site to tell them how far off the mark they are...
 
There is no way that's what it looks like. They are just showing something hideous that way when they show the true PS4, we will think "Well at least its not as bad as that other thing they showed" :lol:

That isn't from Sony, it's (obviously) fanmade.
 
They (Sony) are showing some videos on twitter. I can't watch them because I am on works wifi and it doesn't allow video streaming.

Any Chance anyone can watch them and tell me if their fake, or find some images and post them here please?

Why would Sony themselves be showing fake videos? Anyway I don't see what you're talking about, which twitter account?
 
That Kotaku image is hilarious, it is no way going to look that bad. The one thing Sony know how to do is make stuff look really epic.

Is more likely to look like their amazing Blu Ray player design which came out recently with those angular vent's shown in the teaser below the diamond shaped top on the sides.

But that circular thing in the teaser does have me worried, it looks like fan vent's on the back of a 90's PC! :yuck:
 
After today I see no reason why Sony Needed to show the system way back in February....

However Its almost certain it will be as large as the One...

There's no way it'll look that bad. Sony have real designers, not a kid with a crayon, and know how to make some nice equipment.

I like both of the mock-ups but I quite like this one a lot better.
 
I don't like these square holes. Put the ventilation on the back or somewhere else I can't see it or make them good looking.
 
Well, the PS3 slim was bigger than the PS2 so from one side, a bigger PS4 is quite possible.

I don't think this has been posted yet, a funny addition to the official PS4 teaser...jump to 0:28.

Yeah, I hope it's not some hole on the top/intake or anything, I want all the venting in the back. This is also a problem I have with the Xbox One - I can't stick it on my shelf because of the vent on the top.

They're fun to make for people, and can sometimes act as a bit of a career pusher for the artist if it's good enough or interesting.

Seems like the Xbox isn't very friendly toward standing the system up, wonder if it'll be the same case with the PS4.
 
I hope Sony lays all their cards on the table and play them right at E3 - starightforward without any kind of corporate PR BS. From what I've been able to gather, the XBOX1 is of no interest to me. I'm clearly not their target audience and never was.

Hideous. Gotta' love mock-ups though. I'm sure Sony has a better taste than that.
 
This new xbox they said installs part of every game onto the hard drive and registers it with your specific users name. They say you will longer be able to purchase used games since the game is locked to the owner. I am also hearing you can still purchase used games but you get a limited game since again it's locked to the original owner. This will suck.

It all runs on voice commands so you can just say turn on or change the channel etc and it works. However they say it doesn't have to be always running. How can it not be running and receive a voice command to turn on? I still have a lot of questions for this new xbox.

The ps4 I just hope they actually show. I got a email from Sony saying tune in for e3 because it's going down. So far the ps4 seems amazing if i can play any game, on anything, anywhere. However Sony usually promises you the world while in reality most is just a dream land. The vita they said it can do a lot more and we are still waiting for it to happen.
