I don't know if this has been answered, but what are you suppose to do if your bundled headset gets broke? I haven't seen anywhere selling that headset and I have no interest at all in anything but a mono one ear headset with a mic. Turtle beach is out if the question because I need to be able to hear outside of the game and there's really no gaming headsets to compare to my surround sound setup. There's nothing like feeling the game as well as hearing it. That's something headsets just can't offer.

Is Sony going to sell a one ear headset to buy at launch or would I just be screwed until they start making USB headsets working again?
But you know that you can have the chat on the speakers as well?

I sometimes have my headset around the neck and only use the mic. Thanks to multiple audio output I can switch to fully using the HS without changing anything.

What's the problem? Is the chat not loud enough?

YouTube Link Great advertisement. So much nostalgia.

My daughter pointed out that the girlfriend dumped him in the PS4 era. That says a lot actually.

They are now married and she no longer cares to sit and watch him play video games.

Loving all the WipEout and Gran Turismo love.

Although Sony have a cheek considering how they pulled the trigger on Studio Liverpool.

i really don't want the chat coming through my speakers. I have kids and really don't want them hearing the other end of my chat. I just want a mic and single ear headphone or ear bud or whatever. I also don't want to have to wear cans around my neck just to be able to use a mic.

I want a super cheap USB or one like that's coming bundled with the ps4. Those are ideal for me. I actually like the looks of the bundled kit. As long as the mic doesn't pick up my speakers it should work well for me. I'm just afraid it will break before the USB update comes out and the only option would be the big can headphones from turtle beach. I've tried them before and didn't care for the sound at all, I also need to be able to hear noises in my house.

Hopefully they update the USB soon and I can go back to my trusty cheap Logitech wired headset.

Amazing video, really cool indeed.

(Funny however who I was playing Silent Hill on the PS1 instead of the innocent CTR, which was also awesome BTW).

This nostalgia video is simply amazing.

I have to say, it's pretty great... it's also the first YouTube advert I haven't skipped when I had the option to... cunningly well made advert, clearly targeted at suckers like me who think they don't need/want a PS4... noticed the Dominos pizza boxes as well... nice touch

I said out loud "Europe doesn't have Dominos!"

We've had Dominos here for ages - they even got the old boxes right!

Ugh, that adds to my frustration :( I live in Michigan and we don't have a freakin Dominos close enough to deliver!!! We've got a crappy Pizza Slut in our town.

Enjoy and be glad you've got it!

I have already validated one.

After checking the PS4 catalogue, extensively ... I think I'll pass on this one.

Not a fan of Killzone, Driveclub looks interesting but so little is known about it that I'm not sure if a whole system justifies it, not sure about Planetside 2 either as my PC runs it perfectly, same for Blacklight retribution and War Thunder, Watch dogs might be on the list but is far away.

Other than that ... the PS4 do lack a game library at this point that is not worth the investment as of now, or even for the next 6-8 months for me. As I see it it might be worth having by 2015 once it's game library gets more varied, and once something else is shown for it.

I did consider to buy the thing at launch, but given the game catalogue that backs it I'd rather stay on PC and PS3 grounds for now. Giving my 2 cents here as I never checked out the launch library and expected releases for 2014, 2 things that held my interest will be also available for PC, and the thing really needs something other than MGS V to hold up such investment.

Just like PS3 in 2006, personal best games for PS2 were released in the mid 2005 to mid 2006, rendering the acquisition of a PS3 useless for well over a year after release. I think PS4 might suffer from this as well, given that GT6 is around the corner and it holds my interest apart from Ace Combat: Infinity (which also happens to be a PS3 exclusive) makes me think that the best games to play on this gen are around these dates, and next gen can wait a year more.

Once I get my PS4... Open it. Retrofit a h100i on it. Put some heatsinks with thermal pads on the ram chips. Fit it into a mini ITX case (hope there isn't ribbon cables for days). Crisis averted.

From something small and beautifully you do something large and ugly 👍 Just for better cooling

From my understanding The Xbone costs less than the PS4, so either there is a reason why Taxes are higher on the PS4 or Sony are lying.

PS4 potential buyers are dropping like flies :scared:

Yeah I've noticed that with Watchdogs, DC's delay along side the Forza WHeel support news, some people here have decided to hold on for a bit.

Agree as well with the reasoning that the PS3 having such a good year it's hard to let go just yet.

Abit of an optimistic statement if you're just going off this forum here (which at best only accounts for a tiny percent of total potential buyers)

you should have kept it. Their going for around $800 on eBay right now. I thought about canceling my Xbox order but once I seen I could double my money i figured why not make a few bucks.

I was considering selling it, but I'm just not pressed enough to do it. Maybe someone else who wants one at launch can get it for retail now.

From my understanding, Microsoft manufacture Xbox one's in Brazil, therefore avoiding the import taxes. Sony are yet to start doing that with PS4.
