Well, those who are working on titles that are supposed to come out on release day (or shortly after) need to get dev kits, at least. Those who aren't doing any developing yet won't get one, most likely.

So, Microsoft have a countdown to E3 and Sony are promising something Playstation-related on Feb 1st. Looks like next-gen consoles are very close...

After reading something for NFSMW I stumbled on something. I read this in an article and it seems to be more and more likely.
But going into 2013, the company has achieved some level of mature wisdom since releasing the PlayStation 3, with Sony’s CEO, Kaz Hirai, hinting that the upcoming PlayStation 4 will be released after Microsoft’s successor to the Xbox 360

So I don't expect a PS4 release this year.

Sony released a high end Blu Ray player last week, which is rumoured to be a new stylistic direction that the PS4 might also take.

Probably another slow news day article but daum that thing looks awesome, if that actually was the PS4 I'd buy it! :D
 
Yummy! That looks neat indeed! I'm crossing my fingers for a similiar look.
 
Haven't there been hints that GT6 might end up being a lunch title for PS4? And, if the Next Box is before that, then Forza 5 might just be a launch title for that....so, we'll finally have a true head-to-head battle with them. If money allows, I'll probably get both systems and both games.

WSJ is guessing like the rest of the websites. It's only officially a 'future of playstation event'.

Doubt it but maybe Sony could show multiple tech demos, showcasing PS4's raw power!

Release date to be announced at E3 2013. Fingers crossed. đź‘Ť
