The thing is, Sony isn't really introducing anything new here, but they are telling us how amazing it will be and life-changing. Very much reminds me of an Apple presentation.

And the current speaker needs to learn how to open his eyes. He has glasses, why squint so much.

With many members of Bizarre Creations now a part of Evolution Studios, not to mention Evo Studios own Motorstorm series, I'm looking forward to the title.

I'm expecting something that would be at least one level higher than what I've seen. Killzone was really nice, the rest didnt impress me at all.

Watchdog seems awesome also. And like killzone it's the game that we see, not a pre-rendered video, which is interesting.

They don't have that many cards yet, that is part of my point.

I was more talking about the absurd amount of hype, and the amount buying into it here from a relatively low quality livestream presentation. Considering how bad Sony has been with PSN, their social features, and everything else, they are just playing catch up with Microsoft and the PC communities.

Yup, this all while the Sony and Gaikai guys just told you how much 'social features' and 'interconnectivity options' the PS4 has and that they will continue to expand on it. And that your 'Playstation Profile' is hooked up to your 'social media services'.

God... I love this. Are they really expecting me to still buy the thing after making me aware of the dangers of all of this? :dunce:

In hardware, yeah, but if the software continues to be mostly straight ports from consoles it doesn't really count for much, does it?

Yes but kind of how we have been at "hd" textures and "hd" resolutions for years....

Now that consoles have that.... PC's will move on to "uhd" textures and "uhd" resolutions....

Now that devs don't have to waste time getting their software running on ridiculous hardware (cell) since Sony has opted for x86 processing, games can be ported much easier, allowing for more PC development time.

haha. I don't have facebook... So I am one of "those people" as well.

Gotta have Watch Dogs with all this social integration crap lol.

More like rolling their eyes. They've gotten the user experience together so much better than Sony has they are just watching Sony catch up now.
