Likewise, purported leak data shows all of the announced and rumored characters in the format: [date] [time] [five digit number] css_character_icon_[character name].ctxr OR ui_cs_text_[character name].ctxr. So, for instance:

What’s interesting here is that the original six characters announced for the game (Colonel Radec, Fat Princess, Kratos, Parappa the Rapper, Sly Cooper and Sweet Tooth), along with Nathan Drake, are labeled with the latter format. All of the other characters -- some announced, others rumored in the leak -- are labeled with the former format.
As NeoGAF points out, this, coupled with the fact that there’s an “unlockable_icon.ctxr” file, indicates that there are unlockable characters. Our assumption is that the six originally announced characters, plus Drake, are the characters available from the get-go. Everyone else can be unlocked by playing the game.
Regardless, this data dump seems to confirm this as being at least part of the character roster, if not the whole thing:

Also in the leaked files rumored to have come from PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale are lists of items to use in-game, as well as characters called “Minions” that will likely appear as NPCs on various stages. Examiner.com broke down the items and Minions into something a little more readable, and also identified their game-centric origins. So here they are.

Finally, the rumored leaks also contain a list of what appears to be game modes and other randomness. As far as modes are concerned, here’s what it can be boiled down to:

There’s also random mention here of things like “Gold Stars Collected”, indicating that there will be an in-game “Gold Stars” system for accomplishing certain feats and tasks. Likewise, there are items mentioned called “Clue Bottles”, “Killer Bees” and more.
AI difficulty is also mentioned: Easy, Normal, Hard and Insane.
We’ve pinged Sony again, as we did yesterday when the story originally broke, and will update if and when we hear back from them. In the meantime, keep in mind that while all of this certainly seems real, it's still unverified.
