I will believe it when I see someone independent actually playing it - and playing the whole game, the Traxion preview said even on PC it was currently just one car, no opponents and no HUD.

Yeah I understand your point. Aeris is this guy from Assetto Corsa team who just joined PMR team. So I think he can be reliable source.

Also VR on PC is in open beta. Everybody can try it

Here is a rather shocking and cautionary tale of what can happen in extreme circumstances using VR.
Obviously it's not the norm, but then again the stimulus and light effects of wearing VR for hours at a time isn't "normal" either.
