OK so race 1 is done and as you are all aware there was a very disappointing turn out of just 8 out of 12 turning up and on of those quit just passed the half way mark :(

Still turned out to be a good and interesting race led from start to finish by RS__96__oO and with kimster71 starting last to come through to 3rd.

All was good racing and well done to all drivers and i have no incidents reported to me.

I took some time with my suspension after last race and the low speed understeer is gone now. Still not very crisp at high speeds, but I guess it's a start.

I'll be away on a camp from this Saturday until August 3rd. On the 4th we're having evaluation and depending on how much time we need for that, I might not be able to join the race that day. So I'm a "maybe" for Suzuka, hopefully I can make it though.
 
OK no problem just let me know as soon as possible so that i know who to expect.

Also for all to note i will be hosting a test session on either the Friday or Saturday (depending on my availability) before race day.
 
Test session will be held on next saturday evening, room will be open about 6.30-7 at suzuka.
 
P1K3Y_M1k3Y long time remember me mate been a few years at the nurburgring I love endurance racing and i love to get in on the action just hope I can make every race ill let you know what car im going shortly I see DJ Rep still racing will you too.
 
Hello mate yes i remember you 👍 How you been mate :)

I can put you down for this if you like as you know we have already done round 1 but if you are going to be there for all races i will introduce a drop score system where everyone drops their worst score (for you this will remove the loss of race 1)
 
Whatever mate just want to compete with you guys ill do my best even if thateans getting up early in the morning ill send you a friends request also ill let you know what car ill be using I need to think about this 1 as car choice important for endurance racing
 
Rx7 tc mickey light and really fast fuel good but tyres don't last as long as gt500 cars but I think I can build a gap before my tyres go I go rx7 tc
 
OK so race 2 results and my thoughts.

A good race I thought and I had a good battle with IWIN and Rs throughout the race all sharing the same few 100 meter's of the track for most of the race trying to battle for the lead that was RS's by the end.

Further back in the pack I believe there was another 3 car race for the whole 2 hours with poor Kimster somewhere in the middle driving his own race.

So results were as follows:

It was a great race but rs with the under cut worked lol can't believe I thought it was a 60 lap race I think my stupidities cost me more but ill recover and try and win next race at la sarth my rx7 will be hard to beat there also thanks for hosting mick
 
Yes RS got a very good undercut and made it stick very well 👍

I think in hindsight 63 laps would have been perfect for the 2 hour mark but is hard to calculate perfectly.

Unfortunately I think this will probably be the only series I host as there are plenty running on here at any time and I think unless you are known people are less likely to join although I may look at what options are available on GT6 and maybe look into hosting more but they will not start without 10+ drivers 👍
 
Yeah I know what you mean if you want I can find some racers for this series ill hunt around but hosting and running a series is annoying as if your an above average racer its hard to find committed racers to race with anyway ill try get a few more reliable racers on board

Although I won't be changing the points system again so anyone who joins now wont count for points 👍
 
I mate iv been taking to some guys but the problem is they are on the wrong time frame or not normally on at the times of the race Ill keep asking around and see how I go.
Ill only ask guys who i know will actually stay for the whole race.

Yes loads of space, never really got a lot of interest.

Have 8 drivers that are all frequent and attend all races even though it's a low number of cars so more would make us all happy 👍

As I'm sure you are aware we have already completed 2 races and this weekend is Le Mans so a championship attempt will be difficult but am happy for you to race :)

I am currently trying to plan and organize another endurance series but would like (dare i say) longer races and am trying to make it so that every car has 2+ drivers (finding interest hard to find though) but still check it out and let me know what you think :)

PM i understand that a championship might not be possible but i like the gt3 cars. endurance is not really my thing but i have been guesting in some series and its been fun. I would like to participate in your next race should i have the time which i think i will.

i've been doing some research about a gt series and as you mention the limited cars i would recommend allowing the r8 & sls as i've seen them both in all the gt series internationally.

sign me up for the corvette and see you at the next race. fyi i believe in clean hard racing and i'll not effect the championship.

Also which corvette was it you are using the Corvette Z06 C6 06' RM? as it is free car choice as long as it is 600pp :)
 
in the case of free choice give me a day or two so many choices!!! i see that race is 4 hour!! never did that long of a race before. i want to make sure i'm comfortable with the car. i've heard you should be very happy with the car in races this long.
 
OK no problem I will leave your car clear until I update for the new results, that way you got till qualifying to make your choice 👍

Being happy with your car will definitely help with consistency and that will be the true key ;)

i have to keep my word but maybe i'll join the lounge should time allow.
 
Me either... I only will be able to test on this Friday and Saturday before the race... But I´ll post my best current time, so that everyone can have a look at it :)
 
I need to try and get on tomorrow or Friday latest as have TOCA to do Saturday and need to have a run with that too :nervous:
