I not sure if this is the right place to put this but ive been having a problem playing GT4. When my brother first got it it worked find but then his PS2.S stopped reconizing it as a PS2 game. I then played it on my PS2.S and the same thing happend. Now the only way for me to play it is by using AR/Gameshark. Does anyone know what i should do

First, what is PS2.S? S as in small? :dunce:

I've had this same problem, but only when trying to play very old games ie. Tekken Tag. I would say start with the basics: clean the CD itself, and do you have a laser lens cleaner? There are CD's you can use to clean it, if you have one, put that in your PS2 and run that.

I used my intec lens cleaner and it still wont work :mad:

I will try to use the game in someone elses PS2 if i can find another. The game itself has very few scraches compaired to my other game so Im guessing that scrach removers my be a waste :boggled:

Yeah, don't bother with a scratch remover if the CD is in a good shape. What about other games? Is your PS2 reading anything right now?

Ive put in a DVD(very good condition), some music (fair) , GTA:SA(good), NFSU2(good), and even my unreal tournament[blue disc] (very good) and it all works. I really dont know what to do now.
