PLEASE HELP - My Computer Keeps Saying that no Bios is Installed.

Hello,

so, I was creating some GT Sport UI design on my computer. When I had dinner afterwards, I turned my TV off (my computer is connected to my TV via HDMI) but let the PC running. When I returned to my room to continue my work, I turned on my TV and there was no signal. I tried to plug the cable out and then back into my TV: didn't work. Them I tried to do the same at the computer. I plugged the cable out and back in, but while I was plugging the HDMI cable back in I accidentally pulled out the graphics card out of it's socket. I then plugged everything back in, powered on the PC. But it wasn't loading Windows. Instead, the mainboard gets booted and then this appears:

I need quick help, I need my computer for learning currently. Thanks in advance.

Can you get into the BIOS at all?
Negative.
I phoned the computer expert of my family a few minutes ago though, we came to three possibilities of how it could have happened:

1. Mainboard is broken (it probably isn't since the PC is booting from the mainboard)
2. Mainboard battery is out of juice
3. Virus that crushed my Bios

What happens when you press F1 key or Delete key? If you manage to get into BIOS, restore to optimised defaults, save and exit.

1, most likely
2, if the CMOS battery was dead, your BIOS settings would reset after a restart, not dissapear.
3, highly unlikely.
*edit*
4, The BIOS has corrupted somehow but not via one of the reasons above.

Do you get any options at POST? F12 for boot options etc.

Thanks to the slow motion feature on my phone camera I could see that for a blink of an eye, the normal boot screen was popping up. It said "Press DEL to enter SETUP". I then restarted the PC, pressed the DEL key as fast as I could and I could access my bios. I saw that the first boot priority was set to "Removable", the second to "Hard Disk" and the third was set to "CD ROM". I set the first priority to "Hard Disk" aswell, saved it and now it boots up like before. It's now currently running through the Windows restarting/"Your PC had a problem" stuff. I'll keep you updated.

Hard drive is normally last. Is there a USB stick or drive connected to your PC?

Nope, there isn't. I've now tried to start the PC from a certain Restore Point, but that didn't work. A System Refesh can only be done if I have a Windows on a USB device or something like that, in short: I need a backup Windows for that. It's now trying to fix start up issues.

Hopefully Windows fixes startup issues. If not, load optimised default in BIOS and save it. Does it then boot up into Windows? If not check in BIOS if SATA mode is AHCI or IDE? Try setting it to other option of the two and saving then see if it boots into Windows.

It didn't seem to fix them. It's currently stuck at this screen for almost 30 minutes:

Referring to the Bios stuff; I think I've done the default thing. I accessed my Bios, changed the setting I've mentioned; saved it and it booted and now I'm here.

EDIT: it now shows this:

Try restarting and see if it loads up or freezes again at same place. If option to go into safe mode comes up, choose that instead. If you have access to another computer and USB stick or DVD-R, download Windows 10 for free and install that. Hopefully it allows upgrade, should get you up and running.

Edit: You can go into Safe Mode through advanced options. I think though you should be able to resolve it by going into BIOS and setting SATA mode to opposite of what it currently is.

I now booted it from Safe Mode and I can happily say that everything is working now. :)
Thanks for your help guys.

Can you boot normally too without having to go into Safe Mode? Good idea to backup your data if you haven't already. If you want, you can also upgrade to Windows 10.

I'll try later, I'm pretty tired now. 👍
Wait...

D:\Windows?!

I know it can be done but why would anyone do it?
I think it was already pre set when I installed it.
