Hey guys! So basically if you know ASDFmovie by TomSka... I made a decal of one of his mini clips, the one where the two guys yell at each other about a dog on the ground that isn't there. Whatever. Anyways... so I made it, took me one and a half hours because I have absolutely no skill in decal designing except that I need the file to be in an .svg format. So anyway, I jumped on to this website and made myself a nice little decal that looks like this (I won't upload the svg in case it gets stolen, original ASDF scene uploaded in the post). I uploaded the .svg on to https://www.gran-turismo.com/gb/gtsport/user/decal-uploader and that was fine, it's uploaded and I can see the decal in my list. But... when I go to my GT-R premium edition to apply the decal... 90% OF THE WHOLE THING IS GONE! All I see are two lines off of one of the characters, that's it.

So to sum up in a really short sentence, I made a decal in the right format, uploaded to the website, it was fully there but when I want to put it on my car in the game it's barely loading.

Please, I need your help. I feel achieved for making the file but can't use it, so it makes me feel like I just wasted my time.

CptRhodock out, original image uploaded as I mentioned.

Quick edit - could any of these be the problem? These are the rules of uploading an .svg file:
- the file must not be larger than 15kb in size;
- the text must be outlined;
- special drawing (blend) modes such as 'multiply' and 'adding' are not allowed;
- the file must comply to the SVG 1.0 or 1.1 specifications;
- for gradations, only simple shapes are supported.

I sometimes have the shifting problem happen to me. My workaround is to make a new file, copy and paste the vector to the new file, and then save it and upload it to the GT Sport servers. I'm using Adobe Illustrator CC 2015. I hope this helps.

Yeah, this should solve the issue. Illustrator CS2 is free to use btw and the tool I'm using to get decals for GTS.

If you've used the circle tool for the heads or other parts make sure you "convert to curves" in whatever you're using and add an extra node. @eclipsee found that solution here. How you do it will vary slightly depending on your software but Google or folks here can help you figure it out.

Do the same if you ever use the font tool to add text to a design. Certain things like "pre-fab" shapes and some gradients will show fine from the website but GTS just can't interpret them in the game.

If you can't find Illustrator, Inkscape is also free and pretty decent. Get it at inkscape.org.
