Hmm, very nice. Don't like the headlights much, but everything else is great. 300hp, V8, 4WD, and it'd be perfect. Please make a production version!!! And please make a WRC version!!!!

I saw this on Fast Lane Daily yesterday. The said the images from the Fiat test track look like they were photoshopped. And they did make a good point when Derek D. said "When's the last time you've ever seen an undisguised prototype being tested? Oh, that's right, never!"

Would be perfect in every way if it wasn't for the flush headlights....Damn the pedestrian safety regs killing off flip up headlights....

That looks great, I want one. Make it, Lancia. Now. And give me one

How about: "give me one for free!". Car is sexy. Not the 2005 concept, the new one. The thing that makes me know it's a Stratos is the rear lights, and they better not ruin that!

That Stratos looks huge compared to Lancia's version.

Its absolutely tiny!

The 2005 car is hideous. This looks excellent!

Um, the new car is based nearly entirely on the styling of the 2005 car but they have ruined the lights in my opinion. So I don't know how you can say its 'hideous'.

Robin.

The sides look fat on the "old" one and are slimmed down a lot on the "new" one. New rear end looks better. Basically the difference between every concept car and its production counterpart, the old one looks like a concept (toyish) and the new one looks ready for the road.

Why?

What "hopes"? Are you going to be able to affort one? If not, than it doesn't matter if it's just a one-car-show-off model or a production car.

No offence. ;)

What 80Y 2C2 said... ;)

+1 On that. Concept is too unproportional in comparison to the actual version.

How hilarious would it be to see all the confused people if they'd sell this stateside as a Chysler Stratos? (For those that don't know, below is a Dodge Stratus.)

It's an R/T! Its a race model, duh!

Oddly, I have NEVER seen an R/T with the magnesium spoiler option. Never.

I think that was one of those things they killed after they sent out the press kits.

To be honest it wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't sourced it from the spoiler shop on GT4.

Anyway, enough OT.

All I'm hoping is that it comes in at less than the Ferrari California...for that matter, somewhere around the Porsche GT3...

I was thinking more about $25k so I could buy one in a couple years.

Am I the only one that thinks it should use a V6 like the original? What's this Ferrari V8 nonsense? They should get the Pentastar V6 in there from Chrysler and market it against the Evora and Cayman. Not to mention the positive public image gains Lancia would get from being mentioned and comparisons being drawn from them to Lotus and Porsche.

Too right you.👍

I don't see much of the '05 car in this bar the headlights, this new thing that's been spied looks 1,000 times better.

Um... yes... Fiat/Lancia/Chysler... Please build this. This car could wake up the company that has recently been created. :D Now that would be awesome.

^ Love that Miku Hatsune livery 997. :sly:

BT-> Car and Driver said it will be a limited production sports car similar to the Alfa 8C. And on some rumors, some sources that it would be a Bertone (original creator of the styling) & Pininfarina (ties with Fiat in general) colaboration. :dopey:

^ Hopefully all of these are true! This would be more desirable than the Alfa.
