i know all of you guys prefer ghost launching to launching on a time;but since im from india i experience ghost lag.Eventhough i try to launch as quick as i possibly can the other guy just launches like he has nitrous.I get kicked off some rooms cause i try to ghost launch. lol even by trying ghost launching i experience lag, so i would prefer and appreciate it if you guys take note of this and race me on time whenever you meet me:):)

There are millions and millions of gt5 players, and thousands of gtplanet members..

i cant see a host (if their from gtp) remembering this tbh..

i have seen that before, it probably takes time but you can type that out before you start racing in a room so they understand

well you see some of them dont, thats why i posted this. They think im trying to avoid a legit run,and some dont even want to run on a time.Just say i beat some guy twice or thrice on time he would probably say that he lost because he ran on time so he would challenge me on a tree which obviously i experience lag and cant help it.I agree that a tree is much better but the stupid lag annoys me .

if your flag is indian, people will probably kick because they believe that it causes lag in the room... one thing that is important and may help you not get kicked as much is to get a mic and explain to the host or other racers your situation and that you must use GLing to get a good/even launch

Seriously If its that bad I would just stick to going in a circle instead of a straight line, or become faster to overcome a lag launch....there is nothing U can really do about it. U will probably get kicked and or nobody will run U with time...sorry bro...there are some nice guys who will accommodate U but their few and far between...good luck

Clear your network cache, that kills most of the ghost lag, for me at least...

They probbaly just scared to have a legit run with you that happens alot lol

Ghost launch does suck to a certain extent...example: I'm from Australia and can't find Indy drag rooms all that often that are hosted by a fellow Aussie so I find myself going to US rooms (you guys have heaps) anyway when a US tuner ghosts myself and another US racer I always suffer some lag and lose more times than not. Yet if I'm still in a US room and another Aussie ghosts and I'm racing a US tuner I win and the tables are turned (ghost lag). Hope this made sense...

It does.

One exception is when the lobby has a fixed host. (never join these lobbies)

its a known problem and it sucks that it comes down to this and its hard to play international people

i definitely see the difference in the lag if your not from north america, its just the way it is.

we see it magnified because of how we play the game. cars are so closely tuned and any millisecond delay is noticed
