OK, I'm having an issue.
Everytime I come onto GTP all the threads say NEW even if the last post was read before I left. If I close my browser then return all say new even when there are no new post's. I read every post that is written so I remember what I already read but it's just having to check them all. Only solution I've had thusfar is writing down the time I last left GTP.

I'm using the PS3 browser (so this could be the problem here). At first I thought it was my cookies settings but it doesnt happen on any other sites I'm involved with. Thank you for any tips or information beforehand.
 
Have you tried clicking the Mark Forums Read button at the bottom of the main page before you leave?
 
It sends me to a page to message a moderator or Jordan and when I leave they all do not have the new post icon. Sometimes it goes back more than 12 hours with post's I had read the previous day.

This is what I get if I press the un-needed mark all as read link. :)

I'm not quite sure what the problem could be, especially if you're using the PS3's browser. This sort of thing is all controlled with the use of cookies, so make sure you log out of your forum account, clear and delete them all, then sign back in.
 
To be fair, the PS3 browser is a piece of crap... Several sites don't work, like hotmail. You can log in and see your e-mail headers, but you can't click on them. I myself browsed GTP for a while on the PS3 and had the "auto login" option on; it would work for a week and then I had to log in manually and tick the box again after which it stopped working in anoher week.

Do you experience the same issues on a PC?
 
Strange, I also read the forums on my PS3, but i have no problems what so ever. Only on the News site you get this banner in your screen, but that's easily solved, turning the Java off.

Coxis to use your hotmail on your PS3 use Hotmail for mobile. It doesn't have all the features but it work's perfectly. As far as my pc goes, my PS3 is my pc lol. I don't have the log in problem that you have though.

HenGTX my div.4 gold brethren lol. I know of the news page banners. On the main news page just press cancel load in your menu after page is loaded. On news video's just make the video full screen.
 
First thing to do with this site and the PS3 browser is to disable Javascript. It speeds the place up massively. Press triangle --> tools and turn it off. While you're there delete your cookies, cache and search history.

There's an even easier way to get rid of the misplaced banner, when it shows up just hit "back" ( L1) and ... puff ... banner gone! 👍
