Hey all, OK What the hell is a LM ?
You guys use a LOT of TLA's (two and three letter acronyms) for stuff (cant even remember any now !)

T1-T9 ? (Tyres ??)

Can you guys post what they mean ? It would make reading these forums a bit easier for noobs like me !

Cheers
J

Well, those aren't really acronyms as they're directly from GT3.

The LM designation seems to be a 'fantasy' category for cars in the game (apart from the Nissan R390 LM which is an actual car) - from our best guess it seems to be class inspired by a Toyota Supra, Nissan Skyline and Honda NSX that all ran at Le Mans 24 hours in a certain spec (can't remember the details). So, LM stands for Le Mans.

The T1-T9 seems to refer to race tyre spec - again, that is directly from the game.

Here we go:

From 1995-96

Not really I've seen things that were Limited Addition and used (LM) to shortin the term a bit

NSX competed in Le Mans? Maybe not Le Mans 24 hours, but maybe it competed in the GT or GTS class. Pretty sure it didn't race in the LM 24 Hours, but yeh, like vat_man said, those dream cars are inspired from those kind of cars.
