Plug-in Not found.

Hey guys,

I encountered a problem today when i went to open the chat. When i click on it says that a plug-in is required and then i get transferred to the opera plug-in page. Sadly im not sure what plug-in the chat requires so im not able to find the one in the list. If anyone is able to point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Java is required to use the chat function. Odd that you don't have it. What OS and browser are you using?
 
DP: ok installed java, the latest version and even the version opera recommends, and still the chat is telling me im missing Java.

Have you completely restarted the browser? Couldn't hurt to restart the machine outright either.
 
Restarted the browser several times, no luck. I'll restart the PC later on see if that works. Im still puzzled.
 
It's definitely not an Opera issue, it's working for me using Opera and MacOS. Are you using the latest version of Opera?

Let us know what happens after the restart. Java doesn't require it on update, but it could on install, I can't remember its been that long.
 
Derp. My PC had a message in the task bar wanting to update java applet but didnt show me the message untill i restarted the PC.
